Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville National Blue 9- and 10-year old All-Star team wrapped up its undefeated run through the District 9 Little League tournament, July 3rd, as they defeated the St. Bethlehem All-Stars, 7-4.
Finishing the tournament 4-0, Clarksville National Blue never trailed in the championship game getting out to a 6-0 lead after two inning – including a five-run outburst in the second inning.
“We got a great pitching performance from Logan Blackman to start the game and scored enough runs to hang on,” said Scott Samuels, who along with Patrick Miller and Brad Greathouse coached the Clarksville National Blue. “We’ve got a good defense and our pitching has been solid the whole tournament and tonight was another example where we got a good start and our relievers came in and held them in check.”
Tullahoma, TN – The Clarksville National Blue team won the 2012 State Junior (7-8) Baseball Tournament held in Tullahoma, Tennessee the week of July 15th-19th. The team went 5-0 in winning the district 9 tournament one week prior.
In the state tournament, the Big Blue won their first 2 games against Maryville and Hartsville. In the third game, the team fell to Carter County in a tight 4-3 game. They re-grouped and defeated the home team from Tullahoma 13-5 to advance to the championship round against Carter County.
Having to beat Carter County twice to claim the title, the bats stayed hot and Clarksville rolled 11-3 in the first game and 10-4 in the championship game.
Northwest beat Clarksville National Blue 10-0 in the semi finals of the District 9 Little League Baseball Tournament Friday Night
Montgomery Central Little League is hosting the District 9 Ten Year Old baseball tournament.
Cunningham, TN – The District 9 Little League Baseball Tournament had it’s semi finals game Friday night with Clarksville National Blue facing Northwest.
Northwest defeated Clarksville National Blue 10-0 behind the one hit pitching of Gabe Sibert. Aaron Denhart led Northwest batters with three hits, two for doubles. With the win, Northwest will face St. Bethlehem in District 9 Championship game Saturday night.

Cunningham, TN – District 9 Little League Baseball Tournament continued at Montgomery Central Elementary School Monday night as St. Bethlehem earned a spot in the championship by defeating Clarksville National Blue 3-1.

Montgomery Central and Northwest won Sunday Night at the Tennessee District 9 Ten Year Old Little League Baseball Tournament

Cunningham, TN – Little League Tournament games continued at Montgomery Central Elementary School Sunday night as Montgomery Central eliminated Woodlawn 11-1. Central was led by Jace McWhorter, Austin Brown, Ty Garrett and Bo Perry with two hits apiece. Garrett had the only home run in the game. Clay Allen added a triple for Central.

Cunningham, TN – Little League action continued at Montgomery Central Elementary School Saturday night as St. Bethlehem beat Stewart County 9-6 behind two hits each from Ryan Woldfe and Matthew Miraglia.

Cunningham, TN – In Little League action at Montgomery Central Elementary School, Montgomery Central behind three hits from Seth Ratliff beat Burns 17-7. Jace McWhorter, Austin Brown and Bo Perry added two hits apiece. Luke Jenkins had a triple and a double for Burns.

Cunningham, TN – Little League action continued at Montgomery Central Elementary School as Northwest beat South Cheatham #2 16-0 Thursday night. Gabo Sibert and Takeo Chaney combined to no-hit South Cheatham and came within one walk of a perfect game.

Cunningham, TN – Stewart County defeated Clarksville National White 15-5. Brandon Carrol was the winning pitcher. Carrol and Joe Thomason both hit a triple and a double during the contest.
Clarksville National Blue survived against Northwest in a pitcher’s duel 3-2. Gavin Hams stuck out 11 for Clarksville National Blue, while Aaron Derrheart and Gabe Sibert combined to strike out 12 for Northwest.

Cunningham, TN – On Monday night, Stewart County led off with two hits as they went on to defeated the South Cheatham #2 team 17-1.
Clarksville National Blue defeated Burns 23-5. Lance Owen picked up the win and added two singles and a double at the plate.
