Nashville, TN – While the Tennessee Titans have several veterans scheduled to become unrestricted free agents this offseason, including Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry, Jon Robinson has crafted a roster replete with young, promising talent. Possibly no player embodies the combination of hope and early productivity more than A.J. Brown, last year’s second-round pick.
Brown, the 51st overall draft selection in 2019, led Tennessee in every major receiving category as a rookie, totaling 52 catches for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns.
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry finished 2019 with a league-high 1,540 yards on 303 rushing attempts (4.8 avg.). His 16 rushing touchdowns put him in a tie with Green Bay Packers’s Aaron Jones atop the league leaderboard and placed second in franchise annals.
Over the final six weeks of the regular season plus three playoff appearances, Henry totaled seven 100-yard games.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (11-7) travel to Kansas City this week to play the Chiefs (13-4) in the AFC championship game. Kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium (capacity 76,416) is scheduled for 2:05pm CT on Sunday, January 19th.
The winner will represent the AFC in Super Bowl LIV, which is scheduled for February 2nd in Miami Gardens, FL. The AFC champion will face the winner of Sunday’s NFC championship matchup in San Francisco between the 49ers and the Green Bay Packers (5:40pm CT).
Nashville, TN – In Week 10 of the 2018 season, the Tennessee Titans hosted the New England Patriots and won by a score of 34-10.
On the opening kickoff, WR Darius Jennings returned the ball 58 yards and helped set the tone for Tennessee. As the Titans offense took the field, QB Marcus Mariota constructed a seven-play, 40-yard scoring drive that resulted in a four-yard touchdown pass to TE Jonnu Smith, as Tennessee put up points early, 7-0.

In the league’s inaugural season, the Oilers swept both games, winning 24-10 in New England and 37-21 in Houston. The teams met 20 times as part of the AFL (1960-69), with the Patriots earning a 10-9-1 advantage.
Upon the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, the Oilers moved to the AFC Central Division, and the Patriots began play in the AFC East. They officially became the New England Patriots in 1971.

On Houston’s opening possession, Texans QB Deshaun Watson drove his offense down the field into Titans’ territory. On second-and-seven at the Tennessee 20-yard line, Watson’s pass was intercepted at the one-yard line by S Kenny Vaccaro to end Houston’s scoring threat and keep it a scoreless game.
Nashville, TN – In Week 12 of the 2018 season, the Tennessee Titans traveled to the Houston Texans to take on the Texans in a Monday Night matchup. Tennessee lost the contest by a score of 34-17.
Tennessee got on the board first as QB Marcus Mariota led the Titans on a six-play, 62-yard scoring drive. WR Corey Davis helped move the chains with a 19-yard grab for a first down, but the Titans settled for a 31-yard field goal and an early 3-0 lead. As Houston took the field for their first drive, LB Jayon Brown and OLB Derrick Morgan sacked Texans QB Deshaun Watson on third down to force a three-and-out.
Nashville, TN – Including the regular season and playoffs, this week marks the 51st all-time game between the Tennessee Titans and the Oakland Raiders organizations, two of the original eight members of the American Football League.
The rivalry has been filled with historically significant contests, including their very first matchup. On September 11th, 1960, the Houston Oilers defeated the Raiders 37-22 in the first game of either franchise’s existence.

Despite allowing Jacksonville just 12 first downs, and yielding only two conversions on 11 third-down attempts, Tennessee lost by a score of 20-7.
On Jacksonville’s opening possession, the Tennessee defense forced the Jaguars to go three-and-out. CB Adoree’ Jackson was back deep to return the ball, but fumbled the punt and turned it over to Jacksonville at the Tennessee seven-yard line.
Nashville, TN – In Week 1 of the 2017 playoffs, the Tennessee Titans traveled to Kansas City to face the Chiefs on Wild Card weekend. Tennessee scored 19 unanswered points in the second half and did not allow the Chiefs to score in the third or fourth quarter, as the Titans won by a score of 22-21 and advanced to the Divisional Round.
Both the Chiefs and Titans punted on their opening possessions. On Kansas City’s second possession, Chiefs QB Alex Smith drove his offense down the field with help by a 45-yard reception from Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill and a 27-yard reception from Chiefs TE Travis Kelce.
