Clarksville Police Department cites three businesses during December 1st Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On December 1st, 2016, Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit working in conjunction with Agents from the Tennessee State Alcohol Beverage Control conducted operations targeting the sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Compliance checks were done on 15 businesses with 12 businesses being found in compliance and 3 businesses cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Clarksville Police report Suicide at Two Rivers Mall

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, Wednesday, May 25th, around 1:30pm the Clarksville Police Department received a complaint and request to conduct a Welfare Check on a person considering doing harm to himself.

Officers were able to locate the individual in the Two Rivers Mall parking lot near the Electric Cowboy and the River Walk. The individual was armed and as Officer attempted to approach and talk with the individual he took his own life.

Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from January 6th, 2016

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, January 6th, 2016, Alcohol Beverage Control Agents (ABC) of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations in conjunction with Tennessee State Alcohol Beverage Control Agents targeting the sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Compliance checks were conducted on 16 businesses with beer sales permits and or alcohol sales permits with 3 businesses found to be in violation and cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from February 11th, 2015

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Agents of the Clarksville Police Departments Special Operations Unit conducted compliance checks on nine businesses targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons. Four of the businesses checked were cited for selling alcohol to underage persons.

Captain Craig Gipson, the Special Operations Unit Commander, stated, “Since January 1st, forty-three businesses have been checked for compliance with ten businesses or 23 percent being cited for selling alcohol to underage persons. Clarksville Police Weekend DUI Arrests for February 15th-17th, 2013

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – In an effort to bring more attention to drivers that drink and drive, the Clarksville Police Department is going to start consolidating and publishing the circumstances which lead to the DUI arrest. They are arrests, not convictions. Clarksville Police had 751 DUI arrests for 2012.

Police made 10 DUI arrests from February 15th thru February 17th, 2013.

Betty Carlson, Jimmy Doss, Derek Dotson, Ryan Estes, Edward Gill, Pedro Hanson, Samantha Kelly, Dewayne Massey, Luis Paniagua-Sostenes, and Ryan Smith and  were arrested over the weekend by Clarksville Police for DUI.
