Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrests man for Kidnapping, Vehicle Theft

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) investigators have taken a man into custody for vehicle theft and kidnapping.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 around 7:00pm at the Dollar General in the 1300 block of Dover Road.

A 2007 Dodge Nitro, with a sleeping child inside, was stolen from the parking lot of the Dollar General while the owner was in the store picking up a few items.  Deputies were dispatched to search the area and located the vehicle in the 1000 block of Ross Lane. The child was located unharmed in the vehicle.

Clarksville Police report Brady Witcher, Brittany McMillan arrested in Missouri

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police say that last night law enforcement tracked down Brady Witcher, age 41, and Brittany McMillan, age 28, to a hotel at 7350 North Hanley Road, Hazelwood, Missouri.

Hazelwood Police Department was contacted and worked in conjunction with an FBI team to confirm that Witcher and McMillan were in room 206 at the hotel. Both suspects were taken into custody and booked into the jail in Hazelwood.

Brady Witcher and Brittany McMillan have been arrested in Hazelwood Missouri according to Clarksville Police.

Clarksville Police identify Walmart Shoplifters, Home Invasion suspects as Brady Witcher, Brittany McMillan

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that the suspects responsible for the Sango Walmart incident on December 14th, 2019 and the home invasion at 135 Westfield Court, originating on Wednesday, December 18th and continued until early this morning (December 19th), have been identified and warrants secured.

The two suspects are Brady Witcher, age 41 and Brittany McMillan, age 28.

Tennessee Department of Correction reports Escaped Inmate Curtis Watson captured

 

Tennessee Department of CorrectionHenning, TN – Curtis Ray Watson, the escaped inmate charged with the murder of Correctional Administrator Debra Johnson is back in TDOC custody.

The vigilant efforts of search teams from the Tennessee Department of Correction, Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), FBI, US Marshal’s, local law enforcement, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), ATF and with helpful tips from the citizens of Lauderdale County led to Watson’s capture at approximately 11:00am on Sunday, August 11th, 2019.

Alabama Truck Driver May Be Connected To Additional Crimes, Victims

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) are asking the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation into a man who may be connected to more than the one crime for which he already faces charges.

At the request of 19th District Attorney General John Carney, TBI Agents joined the investigation into Roy Michel Nellsch (DOB 12-31-56) earlier this week.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reports that Kirby Wallace appeared before a Circuit Court Judge in Montgomery County on Friday, February 1st, 2019 for his arraignment.

The 11 count indictment stemmed from the home invasion and kidnapping of an elderly Palmyra woman on September 27th, 2018 and the murder and carjacking of a man in the Indian Mound community on October 1st, 2018.

Kirby Wallace captured in Stewart County

 

Kirby Gene WallaceWoodlawn, TN – Just before 10:30am Friday morning, October 5th, 2018, Kirby Gene Wallace was taken into custody by Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew and Corporal Stacey Bostwick. This ended a week long manhunt for the 53 year old Wallace who was wanted for killing two people and injuring another.

Belew and Bostwick had left the search Thursday afternoon but were called back around 12:30am Friday morning because there was need of another track dog. Stacey Bostwick handles Rowdy one of Henry County’s blood hounds.

Kirby Wallace was captured in Stewart County.

Wallace was wanted by law enforcement for killing two people and injuring another during crimes at two separate houses.

Wallace was wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Burglary, and Theft of Property.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports that all roads in Montgomery County are now open. The search area for Kirby Gene Wallace has been moved to Stewart county after a credible sighting in the Hayes Ridge Road and Wild Cat Creek Road area.

The Cumberland City ferry will be temporarily shut down this morning while the search for Kirby Wallace extends into Stewart County.

In Stewart County per Sheriff Frankie Gray, bus routes #6 and #35 are canceled today, due to a new perimeter that has been setup on Hayes Ridge around to Bartee Road. Please continue to be vigilant, keep doors and windows locked, and also keep keys out of vehicles and keep vehicles locked.
