Don’t Label Me Fashion Show to benefit Stop Child Trafficking Now and Art Link

 

Stop Child Trafficking NowClarksville, TN – Fashion is everywhere, the clothes we wear, the magazines we read, and the television shows we watch. On Saturday, May 5th, local designers and stylists will come together for the first ever Don’t Label Me Fashion Show, a Labels in Lights Production, to benefit Stop Child Trafficking Now and Art Link.

This first ever fashion show will take place at the Riverview Inn located at 50 College Street at 6:00pm.

Dirty Shoes Help Put Burglar Behind Bars

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Recently, officers were able to link a man to a burglary by following shoe prints through the snow.  This time, sand proved to be the undoing of a burglar.

Around 2:30am this morning, officers responded to an alarm activation at Fleur De Lis, 100 South Main Street. Officer Tom Ortiz arrived on the scene, saw Adam Darke walking from the business and stopped him. When Officer Ortiz made contact with Darke, he could smell alcohol and noticed Darke was unsteady on his feet.

The First Thursday Artwalk will be held tonight from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Historic Downtown ClarksvilleThe APSU Downtown Gallery will open the appropriately titled, “A Fantastic Show of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture” by Paul Fly and Brad Reagan.  The exhibition will run from September 2nd – October 2nd with an opening reception during the First Thursday ArtWalk.

The Downtown Artist Co-op will begin their  Annual Membership Exhibition.
