Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc.Nashville, TN – Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee closed all of its stores, outlets and Career Solutions centers across Middle Tennessee and West Tennessee at the end of business Sunday night, March 22nd, 2020 for a period of at least 14 days (through April 5th).

Goodwill Career Solutions to hold Multi-Employer Job Fair August 15th

 

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc.Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, August 15th, 2017, the Goodwill Career Solutions located on Needmore Road will host a Multi-Employer Job from 10:00am until 1:00pm. There are 250 plus jobs available.

There will be eleven employers on site to include: At Home Healthcare, Ollie’s Bargin Outlet, Agero, Progressive Directions Inc., Staffmark, Randstad, Oak Plains Academy, HG Staffing, R.E. West, Fortera Credit Union and Goodwill.

Goodwill Shatters 2014 Employment Goals

 

Montgomery County Centers Help Thousands

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, IncNashville, TN – Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee far exceeded its mission goals for 2014, providing free employment services and job training to 28,159 people — including thousands from the Montgomery County area — and helping 9,558 land jobs, the not-for-profit agency announced Tuesday.

Goodwill’s goals for last year were to assist 20,000 people and to place 6,000 in jobs. Those benchmarks were met in September. The organization, which serves 48 Tennessee counties, hopes to assist 30,000 people and place 10,000 in jobs in 2015. «Read the rest of this article»

Can Money Buy Happiness?

 

Can money buy us happiness? If we were all gathered together and I asked for a show of hands for that question, I don’t think most of us would raise our hands to it. Mostly, we understand that money doesn’t ultimately buy happiness or joy. So why do we continue to act like we believe it can?

Every time we add to our collection of things, we are in danger of being controlled and possessed by those things. Children’s Theater Event at Dunbar Cave

 

The Children’s Theater presented a wonderful, entertaining, eco-friendly program to an audience of sixty two visitors at Dunbar Cave State Natural Area On Saturday, July 24th.

This event began with a children’s art project, involving coloring and cutting out leaves and making frog hats, later used in the audience participation portions of the skits. Two skits, The Squirrel and the Acorn and The Caterpillar and the Frog, were acted out at the cool cave entrance.
