Clarksville Police Department promotes Eleven Officers

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday, July 1st, 2019, the Clarksville Police Department promoted eleven officers in a ceremony held at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park. This was one of the largest promotion ceremonies the police department has ever had.

The room was filled with dignitaries, friends, family, and well-wishers as five officers were promoted to Sergeant, three to Lieutenant, two to Captain, and one to Deputy Chief.

Clarksville Police Department holds Promotion Ceremony for Detective Gregory Rosencrants

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, Thursday, April 28th, 2016, the Clarksville Police Department hosted a promotion ceremony. Chief Al Ansley presented Detective Gregory Rosencrants with a Promotion Certificate to the rank of Sergeant.

In attendance with Sergeant Rosencrants were his wife Veronica, his mother Karen Torrey from Michigan, his three daughters—Samantha, Cassandra, and Ashley; and his son Carter.

The runaway juvenile is 16-year-old Maurice Gaines from Clarksville, TN.

Maurice was recently seen in the Northeast High School area.

Clarksville Police request help Identifying Suspect’s Vehicle

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Gregory Rosencrants is trying to gather information on a vehicle burglary based on the photos included of the suspects’ vehicle and is requesting public assistance.

Between March 17th, 2016 at 6:30pm and March 18th, 2016 at 5:45am, two subjects that were occupying the suspects’ vehicle broke into a U-Haul trailer at the Comfort Inn on the 700 block of Sango Road.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Aviation Unit helps find Armed Robbery Suspect in Montgomery County

 

Tennessee Highway Patrol - THPNashville, TN – The Tennessee Highway Patrol Aviation Unit helped locate a male suspect in Montgomery County who was wanted for armed robbery in a neighboring county on Tuesday night.

The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office requested aviation support, after the suspect allegedly robbed the Eckerds Pharmacy in Ashland City by gunpoint on Tuesday. Local law enforcement officials engaged the suspect in a pursuit northbound on Highway 12 into Montgomery County, where the suspect crashed his vehicle near the intersection of Highway 12 and the bypass. He then fled on foot.

Clarksville Police ask for assistance in identifying robbery suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Early this morning, September 16th, 2014, at 1:17am, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a Robbery at the Exxon Gas Station on Hwy 76.

The store clerk stated that an unknown white male wearing a gray hoodie and black gym shorts came in the store, attempted to purchase a drink, and then pulled out a small knife and demanded all the money in the register.

Clarksville Police are searching for Runaway Juvenile Devin Plum

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Detective Gregory Rosencrants, from the Clarksville Police Department, is searching for a runaway juvenile from 2655 Union Hall Road. The runaway juvenile is 16 year old Devin Ray Plum.

He left on May, 28th, 2014 to an unknown location. He is a white male, with short brown hair, brown eyes, 5’ 5” in height, and weighing approximately 135 lbs.

Devin Plum has been missing since May, 28th, 2014.

Clarksville Police Department arrests two for Robbery on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On January 30th, 2014, at 9:48pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a Robbery at 3065 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The first responding Officer spoke with the victim (male) who stated that he met a female (Danielle Vineyard) on a social network called Tagged. Ms Vineyard told the victim to come hang out with her at the EconoLodge in room number 208.

Man out on Bond Arrested Again

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On November 6th, 2011, around 10:30pm, officers responded to 944 Granny White Road after 911 received several calls about a man, Jerry Hamilton, that had posted several videos/comments on Facebook threatening to harm himself.

Additionally, Jerry Hamilton had an active Conditional Order of Release prohibiting him from being at 944 Granny White Road.

When Officers Gregory Rosencrants and Jeffrey Jackson were attempting to make entry to the back door to take Hamilton into custody, he came out of a room with knives taped to his hands, ran at the officers, and threatened them. He made many threats that he was going to kill law enforcement.
