Hopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) has partnered with local companies, Hutson, Inc. and Kentucky Machine & Engineering, Inc. to pilot a new apprenticeship program, Kentucky Apprenticeship, Powered by KCTCS.
Hutson hired Landen Humphries, 18, as a diesel technology apprentice at their Hopkinsville location while Kentucky Machine hired Ryne Hancock, 29 and a veteran, as a computerized machining and manufacturing apprentice in Cadiz.
Hopkinsville Community College says New Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship campaign encourages adults to go to College
Hopkinsville, KY – Never Underestimate You! That’s the mantra behind a new campaign for the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship, an effort to boost education and employability among adults.
The scholarship, which Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) began offering in 2017, offers up to 60 hours of free tuition for anyone who has not yet earned an associate degree.
Hopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) will host a series of online Pathfinder Preview informational sessions for prospective students who would like to learn more about college offerings and how to get started at HCC.
Sessions will be held at 10:00am on November 20th and December 18th, 2020, and February 19th, March 19th, April 16th, June 18th and July 16,th 2021.

The program format will include three online classes, three in-person classes and one hybrid class, which is a combination of both.

On-campus classes planned for fall term
Hopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) is set to gradually re-open the Hopkinsville Campus on Monday, June 15th, 2020 to provide limited in-person service on weekdays 8:00am-4:30pm.
Under direction from the U.S. Army, HCC’s Fort Campbell Campus will re-open for most services on Monday, July 6th, with weekday hours 9:00am-4:30pm.
