Yellow Creek Baptist Church has large turnout for their annual Patriotic Celebration and Fireworks Show

 

Yellow Creek Baptist ChurchCumberland City, TN – Yellow Creek Baptist Church kicked off the Independence Day holiday with a bang Sunday evening, July 1st, 2018 with their annual Patriotic Celebration and Fireworks event.

It was a night filled with singing, fellowship and great food. This year’s guest vocalist was Steve Ladd. Ladd has been at the event for the last two years.

“We are blessed to have such good weather tonight for the fireworks. Yellow Creek has been doing this event for a few years now. We always brought in a choir, band and someone to sing. Then we give everyone a opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and savior,” said Brother Phillip Chambers, Senior Pastor.

Hilltop Supermarket to hold Car & Fireworks Show

 

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – Hilltop Supermarket will hold a Car and Fireworks show on Friday, June 29th, 2018. Come out and enjoy a fun filled day of classic cars, fireworks, food and family fun.

There will be plenty of activities for the kids. The car show will start at 4:00pm. Hotdogs, hamburgers, drinks, etc, will be available for purchase. Those attending should bring blankets or lawn chairs for the fireworks show.

Hilltop Super Market delivers biggest Easter Egg Hunt to date

 

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – Hilltop Super Market held their 22nd annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15th, 2017. The weather was nice and warm with a cool breeze that kept it from being hot. The event kicked off at 11:00am and the Easter Egg hunt began at 2:00pm.

There were several different activities for everyone to enjoy. There were inflatable bounce houses provided by U Jumpin’ Foulks, face painting done by Montgomery Central High School Cheerleaders, cupcake decorating, a duck pond, and other games.

TWRA held their annual Youth Fishing Rodeo in Clarksville, Saturday

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRAClarksville, TN – Despite hot weather, 215 kids descended on the Liberty Park Saturday, June 11th for the annual Youth Fishing Rodeo held by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) in partnership with the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department. The event gives the youth of Clarksville an opportunity to enjoy a day of free fishing.

“Today is our annual free fishing day here with the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department. This is our 14th year of coming out and offering this event for kids 16 years and younger,” stated TWRA officer Jereme Odom.

The annual TWRA Youth Fishing Rodeo was held Saturday at the Liberty Park Pond.

Hilltop Super Market’s Easter Egg Hunt a delight for young and old alike

 

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 26th, Hilltop Super Market held their 21st annual Easter Egg Hunt. The skies were clear, weather warm, and there was a slight breeze. It was a great day for the event.

Festivities began at 11:00am and the egg hunt started at 2:00pm. Some of the activities were inflatable bounce houses provided by U Jumpin’ Foulks, face painting done by Montgomery Central High School Cheerleaders, a duck pond, cupcake decorating and plenty more.

Hilltop Supermarket to host Spring Festival fundraiser for Kenai Langley

 

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – This Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket is hosting “Karing for Kenai” Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is a fundraiser for 13-year old Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

There will be a yard sale from 7:00am until 3:00pm. Hilltop is still taking donations that can be dropped off at the store anytime.

Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires Festival provided fun and entertainment for everyone

 

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The 13th annual Rivers and Spires Festival concluded Saturday, April 18th with beautiful weather, great music, wonderful food and entertainment for everyone.

Speaking of food, there were freshly dipped corn dogs, kettle corn, funnel cakes, hotdogs, brats, gyros along with plenty of iced tea and lemonade. The gyros was particularly good. Everything was reasonably priced.

Everybody had a swashbuckling good time at Rivers and Spires.
