The Clarksville Downtown Market will be open from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays through October 13th on Public Square.

Fort Campbell, KY – Soldiers throughout the installation gathered at Wilson Theater, here, May 31st, to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage month hosted by 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade.
The observance featured martial arts performances by the Harris Holt Martial Arts Academy, culture performances by Hui Hawaii O Tenesi Hawaiian Civic Club Dance Group, the Samoan Congregation of Fort Campbell, and the 101st Screaming Eagle Dance Group, as well as Asian and Pacific Islander food samples provided by the Austin Peay State University Culinary Team.
Clarksville, TN – When the 2017 Clarksville Downtown Market opens on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 approximately 80 vendors will be on hand to offer fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, milk, home décor, seasonal flowers and more.
Clarksville Downtown Market will be open from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays through October 14th on Public Square.
Opening Day of the Market also will feature entertainment by Hank Baker and Hui Hawaii O Tenesi Hawaiian Civic Club; activities for children provided by this year’s Market sponsor, Season’s Market and Bump & Rump; free health screenings, courtesy of Medical Direct Care; and market tote giveaways provided by Altra Federal Credit Union.
Clarksville, TN – Truly one of the most unique, fun, events at Clarksville’s Riverfest is the Regatta boat race. Unlike other boat races, participants in the Regatta compete in boats made from cardboard, plastic bottles and other approved materials.
The race kicked off at 10:00am at the McGregor boat dock. Competitors raced 100 yards on the Cumberland River to the finish line.
Clarksville, TN – The Riverfest Regatta, presented by U.S. Bank, is not your typical boat race. The boats racing down the Cumberland River at Saturday morning, September 6th were made of cardboard or plastic bottles along with a few other approved materials.
“We always enjoy the opportunity to sponsor city events,” said Steve Kemmer of US Bank. “This is the eighth annual Riverfest Regatta, and we have been part of this event for the past several years! It’s just a great way for us to give back to the community, and they have a lot of fun! The creativity is unbelievable.”
Clarksville, TN – The last day of the 2014 Rivers and Spires Festival continued to be the best in memory. The weather was absolutely flawless, neither too hot nor to cold. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky throughout the entire day.
I rushed down to the Festival at 9:00am to catch the annual WJZM 1400 AM Clarksville in Review broadcast from the Festival. This usually is held at the Bill Roberts thunder road automotive tent on Franklin Street just down from the Roxy Regional Theatre. The program was already well underway when I arrived.
Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville is holding the 12th annual Rivers and Spires Festival in Historic Downtown Clarksville Tennessee this weekend. Running Thursday, April 24th through Saturday, April 26th. The Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever!
With the arrival of spring each year Clarksvillians began to look forward to this three-day long musical extravaganza. The Festival will be headlined on Saturday night by ACM and CMA award-nominated country musician Randy Houser. He will perform some of his biggest hits, including “Goodnight Kiss”, “How Country Feels”, “Boots On” and “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” this will make for a concert you do not want to miss.
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday the city of Clarksville held their 5th Annual Spring Eggstravaganza at Heritage Park. Thousands of Clarksville’s children came out to enjoy the Easter one day early. The event featured over 20,000 Easter eggs spread out over eight different egg hunting sessions on the City of Clarksville’s baseball fields.
“This is our fifth year having the Spring Eggstravaganza at Heritage Park. We have over 20,000 eggs, inflatable’s, petting zoo, and a visit by the Easter Bunny of course. We’re looking to have a great time today,” said Matthew Dixon, Special Events Coordinator for the City of Clarksville’s Department of Parks and Recreation.
Clarksville, TN – The first day of the 2013 Riverfest Festival kicked off with absolutely glorious weather. The sky was clear, and the temperatures while warm were not excessive. Festival Attendence started out a little slow but grew steadily throughout the evening culminating in the concerts by Tina Brown, Backroad Brigade and, Skynyrd Lynard on the Miller Lite stage; and Sidewalk Prophets on the First Baptist Church stage.
The festival gets bigger and better every year, and this year is no exception. On Saturday Riverfest will kickoff with the Riverfest Regatta, with the second day of the festival officially opening shortly thereafter and running until 11:00pm. Among the attractions for Saturday are the recycled fashion show various displays by area dance studios, clubs, martial arts schools, and live musical entertainment all day long.
Johnny T will perform on the Gateway Realty Stage at 9:30pm Saturday. Country recording artist Phil Vassar will take the stage at 9:00pm as the headlining performer on the Miller Stage on Saturday.All concerts are free and open to the public.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Riverfest begins this weekend Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th, 2013. This two day festival runs Friday from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 11:00pm.
On, Friday, Christian recording group Sidewalk Prophets will be performing at 9:00pm on the First Baptist Church Stage.
