Nightly, from 10:00pm-5:00am, there will be lane closures for resurfacing operations.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that in Montgomery County the Widening/Extension of SR 13/Oakland Drive near Cracker Barrel Drive to International Boulevard & Solar Way for Hankook Tire (L.M. 26.82-28.16) has begun and will continue through Monday, August 7th, 2017.

Riding the Natchez Trace Parkway
Tupelo, MS – The Natchez Trace, also known as “Old Natchez Trace,” is a 440 historic forest trail that links the Cumberland River, Tennessee River and Mississippi River. The trail was used by Native Americans and later, by European and American Explorers.
Today, the Natchez Trace Parkway and bridge, commemorates the path used by early explorers.

Tennessee Adds New 77 Miles of Highway to Interstate System

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation has received approval from the Federal Highway Administration to designate State Route 840 as Interstate 840. The change was requested to encourage more economic growth along the corridor and more traffic diversion around Middle Tennessee’s urban core.
The primary purpose of SR 840 when it was initiated in 1986 was to promote economic development by improving access to the many communities located along the route.
