Kentucky (17-2, 7-0 SEC) represents the sixth ranked opponent that the Vols (10-9, 3-4 SEC) have faced this season. On Tuesday, Tennessee will be seeking its first win over a ranked opponent in 2016-17 while also looking to achieve its 69th win over Kentucky in program history. Of UT’s 68 wins — which are the most against the Wildcats of any collegiate team — 22 have come against a ranked UK squad.

Tennessee (12-13, 5-7 SEC) picked up a memorable victory in this season’s first meeting between the two programs, rallying from a 21-point first half deficit to claim an 84-77 win at Thompson-Boling Arena. That victory snapped a two-game losing streak to Kentucky (19-6, 9-3 SEC) and marked one of the largest comeback victories in program history.

Meanwhile, the Razorbacks (11-11, 4-5 SEC) return home to Bud Walton Arena after suffering an 87-83 defeat at Florida on Wednesday night. Arkansas is 10-3 at home this season, boasting victories over Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and No. 5 Texas A&M.
