Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – No. 18/17 Tennessee Vols Football will look to bounce back from last weekend’s road setback this Saturday when the Vols host longtime SEC East rival Kentucky at Neyland Stadium.

Despite having their SEC-leading eight-game win streak snapped at the Georgia Bulldogs, the Vols still carry a five-game home winning streak into Saturday’s contest against the Wildcats.

A limited number of tickets for Saturday’s game are still available and can be purchased at AllVols.com. Gates open to the public two hours prior to kickoff at 9:00am.

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – The Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (3-0), who are receiving votes in both the AP and USA Today Coaches Polls, welcome in-state foe Tennessee State (1-0) to Thompson-Boling Arena on Thursday night, November for a 6:00pm CT match-up.

After opening with two of its first three games on the road, Tennessee takes up residence on Rocky Top for a six-game home stand. After facing TSU, the Lady Vols welcome Stetson (November 19th), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (November 26th), Air Force (December 1st), No. 22/15 Texas (December 8th) and Colorado State (December 11th) to The Summitt. The Air Force game is UT’s Salute to Service game, while the Texas match-up is part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – It was a back-and-forth affair into the third quarter, but Tennessee was unable to keep pace with a potent Missouri attack in a 50-17 loss in front of a crowd of 88,224 on Saturday at Neyland Stadium.
 
Sophomore running back Ty Chandler rushed for a pair of scores and 82 yards on 14 carries to lead the Vols’ offense. Redshirt senior Keller Chryst came on for the injured Jarrett Guarantano at quarterback and passed for 173 yards, including a pair of 49-yard tosses to junior wide receiver Marquez Callaway.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – After a victory over Charlotte on Homecoming last week, the Tennessee Vols football team jumps back into Southeastern Conference play this Saturday as No. 11 Kentucky visits Neyland Stadium.

Kickoff for the game is set for 2:30pm CT on the SEC Network. John Congemi (play-by-play) and Taylor Zarzour (analyst) will have the call with Kris Budden reporting from the sidelines. Vol Network radio affiliates will have a live audio broadcast with Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Brent Hubbs. Sirius (Channel 135) and XM satellite radio (Channel 210) will also carry the game.

Tennessee Vols Football slide past Charlotte 14-3 for Homecoming Win

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee Vols Football opened the month of November with a win, topping the Charlotte 49ers 14-3 Saturday evening at Neyland Stadium. It was the fifth-straight Homecoming win for the Volunteers, improving to 73-19-3 on Homecoming since 1916.
 
Redshirt-sophomore quarterback Jarrett Guarantano paced the Tennessee passing game with 172 yards on 16-of-21 attempts and a touchdown. Sophomore wideout Josh Palmer and junior tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson led the receiving corps with 71 and 53 yards through the air, respectively.

Tennessee Vols Football come up short against South Carolina, 27-24

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsColumbia, SC – Tennessee Vols Football fell to South Carolina on Saturday night as the Gamecocks rallied to take a late, 27-24 lead at Williams-Brice Stadium.

With the loss, Tennessee holds a 3-5 (1-4 SEC) record while the Gamecocks move to 4-3 (3-3 SEC).

The Vols were led offensively by redshirt sophomore quarterback Jarrett Guarantano who completed 27-of-39 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore running back Tim Jordan led the ground attack with 12 attempts for 62 yards while junior wide receiver Marquez Callaway had nine receptions for 86 yards to lead the receiving corps.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – The Tennessee Vols football team fought back in the second quarter, scoring touchdowns on back-to-back drives, but the Volunteers fell to No. 1 Alabama, 58-21, on Saturday at Neyland Stadium.

“I think we learned a lot about our football team today,” Tennessee Vols football head coach Jeremy Pruitt said. “There are some guys we had on our team that this game was way too big for them, and I think everyone was able to see that. It helps us, and we’ll move on with it. We play a good football team next week, so we have to go back to work tomorrow and get ready for South Carolina.”

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsAuburn, AL – The Tennessee Vols Football team outscored the No. 21/21 Auburn Tigers 17-7 in the final two quarters of Saturday’s game to earn its first road and SEC win of the season at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

“We beat a really good football team today,” head coach Jeremy Pruitt said. “It’s like I told them in there, if we learn to execute and raise our level of fight, we’ve got a chance to have a really good football team. There were times in the game where things didn’t go our way. I didn’t think we played very well at certain times in the game, but our guys kind of kept their poise. Fought a little bit harder. They played with a little better technique. We got some turnovers and didn’t turn the ball over.”
