Holding a three-point advantage after one quarter, Rossview (6-1) opened the second period by pounding the ball inside time and time again against the smaller Lady Rebels post player in scoring 10 straight points – including six from Mickey Head to go up by 13 point, 25-12, with 4:33 left in the first half.
Clarksville, TN – A driving layup by Rossview High School’s Karle Pace, in the final 18 seconds, proved to be the difference Friday, December 5th in its District 10-AAA matchup versus Clarksville High School, as the Lady Hawks fended off the up-set bid by the Lady Wildcats, 39-37.
Clarksville High (3-8, 1-1 District 10-AAA) had one final chance to tie, or win the game, but Haley Bearden’s running jumper down the left baseline way off the mark, with the Lady Hawks coming up with the rebound and running out the clock.
Hendersonville, TN – Rossview High School’s soccer team saw its season come to an end, October 20th at Drake Creek Park’s Field of Dreams, with a 6-2 loss to District 9-AAA champion Hendersonville High School.
The Lady Hawks (8-6-1) had trailed 3-0 at one point in the first half, but cut the deficit to 3-2 in the 50th minute on a goal by Kayla Grimes.
The two goals by Rossview were the most given up by Hendersonville since it gave up six goals versus Franklin High School on September 25th.

Clarksville, TN – Rossview High School’s volleyball team ended its season-long four-match losing streak, September 25th, with a 3-0 District 10-AAA win over Kenwood High School by scores of 25-15, 25-12 and 25-19.
Big scoring runs would highlight the victory for the Lady Hawks, who even their overall record to 14-14 and 7-5 in District 10-AAA.
“We just needed to come out and play well and get some of our confidence back,” Rossview coach Krystal Weber said. “So it’s nice to get a win and head into the weekend and the final week of the regular season next week with a victory.”

But it didn’t look it would go that way early-on for Clarksville High (12-3, 9-2 District 10-AAA), with Rossview jumping out to a 13-3 advantage in Game 1 and were never really challenged in getting out to a 1-0 advantage.
“Our goal tonight was to come out as the team we know we can be because we didn’t play well against Henry County High School earlier in the week,” Rossview coach Krystal Weber said. “We came out and knew what our game plan was and knew what to expect from Clarksville High.
Clarksville, TN – Rossview High School’s outside hitter Jessica Mattson collected 16 kills in just three games, September 11th, as she led the Lady Hawks to a 3-0 victory over Northwest High School, by scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-16.
Mattson’s 16 kills were more than half of the total kills recorded by Rossview (13-10, 6-2 District 10-AAA) in the match with Northwest’s blocking at the net struggling to contain the Lady Hawks outsides.
“Most of the game is played out of systems anyway in high school volleyball, so you have to put strong hitters on the outside to be able to take most of the swings,” Rossview first-year coach Krystal Weber said. “But we’re also been working on getting that middle (attack) established, so that it will help to open up the hit on the outside for us.
