Austin, TX – The No. 13/15 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (16-7, 9-4 SEC) remains perfect in NCAA Tournament participation, earning the program’s 39th-straight invitation to the “Big Dance.” UT is the only school to appear in every women’s tourney.
The UT Lady Vols were selected as a No. 3 seed in the River Walk Region and will meet No. 14 seed Middle Tennessee (17-7) in the NCAA First Round on Sunday. Tip-off is slated for 2:00pm ET (1:00pm CT) at the Frank Erwin Center on the University of Texas campus. The game will be televised by ABC and carried by the Lady Vol Radio Network.

Greenville, SC – No. 14/16 Tennessee (16-6, 9-4 SEC), the No. 3 seed, has advanced to the semifinal round of the SEC Tournament and will meet No. 7/7 South Carolina (20-4, 14-2 SEC), the No. 2 seed, at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
No. 1 seed Texas A&M and No. 4 seed Georgia will meet in the other semifinal round match-up at 3:00pm CT on Saturday.
The Tennessee Lady Vols will be making their first appearance in the SEC semifinal round since 2016, when they did so in Jacksonville, FL, before falling to Mississippi State, 58-48.

Knoxville, TN – No. 14/16 Tennessee women’s basketball (15-6, 9-4 SEC), which earned the No. 3 seed by virtue of its third-place regular-season finish, will open play on Friday night at the SEC Tournament in Greenville, SC.
The Lady Vols will face the winner of Thursday’s game between sixth-seeded #13/13 Arkansas (19-7, 9-6 SEC) and No. 11 seed Ole Miss (10-10, 4-10 SEC) at approximately 7:15pm CT on Friday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
In head-to-head match-ups this season, UT defeated (then) No. 13/13 Arkansas, 88-73, on January 7th in Knoxville and erased a 13-point deficit to beat Ole Miss in Knoxville, 68-67, on January 28th.

Knoxville, TN – No. 20/21 Tennessee (13-6, 7-4 SEC) embarks on the final road trip and last week of the 2020-21 regular season, traveling to Columbia for a Thursday evening battle with Missouri (8-9/4-8 SEC). The Lady Vols and Tigers will tip it off at 7:02pm CT (8:02pm ET) at Mizzou Arena.
After facing ranked teams in its last four games, UT will play against a pair of unranked Tiger teams at MU on Thursday and vs. Auburn on Sunday to wrap things up prior to the SEC Tournament.
UT is holding down fourth place in the SEC standings and is trying to seize one of the double byes for the league tourney after being predicted to finish sixth in the preseason coaches and media polls.

Knoxville, TN – No. 21/21 Tennessee (12-5, 6-3 SEC) is happily back at home on Thursday following an adventure-filled road trip to Texas. The UT Lady Vols will play host to No. 2/3 South Carolina (17-2/12-0) at 6:02pm CT in Thompson-Boling Arena.
Thursday’s contest is the annual Live Pink, Bleed Orange game, which brings attention to the fight against breast cancer and provides recognition to the fighters and survivors of the disease.
UT is in the midst of a rigorous stretch of facing four ranked opponents in a span of 11 days, including three on the road. The Lady Vols played at No. 20/18 Kentucky on Thursday, drove home on icy roads, and played at No. 6/5 Texas A&M on Sunday.

Tennessee enters this contest after carding its second one-point victory of the season in three such games, coming from 13 points down and then holding on for the win over Ole Miss, 68-67, on Thursday night in Knoxville.

Knoxville, TN – No. 25/RV Tennessee women’s basketball team (9-3, 3-1 SEC) and No. 12/12 Kentucky (11-3, 4-2 SEC) meet Sunday afternoon, January 24th, 2021 in a border rivalry game that was originally slated to take place on January 3rd.
That contest was postponed after the Lady Vols had to pause practices and games because of COVID-19 Coronavirus contact tracing within the program. Sunday’s make-up matinee came about because UK had an open date and UT found itself without an opponent when Vanderbilt opted out of the season. The SEC then waved its wand and checked one postponed game off its list.

Knoxville, TN – The second installment of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Revival Series will take place on Thursday night, with #25/RV Tennessee women’s basketball (9-2, 3-1 SEC) playing host to No. 3/5 UConn (8-0/7-0 BIG EAST) at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The Lady Vols and Huskies will meet for the 24th time in the all-time series and for the second straight season in a contest that tips at 6:04pm CT.
The Lady Vols come into the match-up having won seven of their last eight games after impressively handling RV/NR Alabama (11-2/4-2 SEC), 82-56, on Sunday.
