Nashville Predators defeat the New Jersey Devils 6-5
The win gives Nashville the much needed two points as they try to claw their way into the playoff picture, as they now find themselves just two points out of the hunt. It was a game that produced a lot of scoring on both ends of the ice. Nashville Predators fall to the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2
The Leafs took the game 5-2. The Predators, who are in desperate need of some wins, came out with some reshuffled lines, but fell behind early on William Nylander’s goal at 4:13 of the opening period to take the early 1-0 lead. Nashville Predators defeat the Chicago Blackhawks 5-2
The highlight of the night came in the final seconds of the game when Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne scored his first EVER goal from his own net. The Predators started strong against Chicago, dominating the first period and taking a 3-0 lead after the opening frame. Nashville Predators fall to the Anaheim Ducks in shoot-out 5-4
The Predators survived an Anaheim onslaught in the first period managing to end the period with a 1-1 tie. With a depleted line-up, the injury plagued Predators played a team game and stopped their three game losing streak. Matt Duchene got things started in the first minute of the game when he drove the puck into the zone and slipped a shot past Linus Ullmark for the early 1-0 lead. After being pulled from three of his last four starts, Rinne showed championship form tonight and produced the shut-out for Nashville who recovered from a devastating loss on Wednesday night to Las Vegas.
