Clarksville Transit System - CTSClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Transit System (CTS) recently placed four new bus shelters.

“I’ve heard passengers request more bus shelters,” said Arthur Bing Sr., City of Clarksville transportation director. “We at CTS are working hard to get more bus shelters installed around the city as quickly as possible.”

The Clarksville Transit System placed four new bus shelters around the Tiny Town Road area this month. The shelters include a bench, solar powered LED lights, a trash receptacle and space for wheelchair access.

Clarksville Street Department to close Old Trenton Road Thursday, September 21st

 

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Street Department will close Old Trenton Road on Thursday, September 21st, 2017 beginning at 9:00am until 3:00pm, weather permitting.

The road will be closed between Nolen Road and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard for street maintenance.

Clarksville Police report Clarksville Transit System Bus struck by SUV on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, May 31st, 2017 around 12:17pm, Clarksville Police report a Blue Chevy Trailblazer, driven by a juvenile female was on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, southbound in the left turn only lane, entered the left travel lane, and attempted to make a right turn onto Old Trenton Road and collided with a Clarksville Transit System bus traveling southbound in the right travel lane.

The collision caused the bus to leave the south side of roadway onto the embankment.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Old Trenton Road Water Outage

Clarksville Police report Shooting at BP on the Corner of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Old Trenton Road

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – This evening, October 20th, 2015 at 5:59pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shooting at the BP at the corner of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Old Trenton Road.

One victim was shot and had life-threatening injuries and another victim was assaulted and had non-life-threatening injuries. Officers have a home surrounded that is occupied by suspects.

Clarksville Gas and Water announces Water Outages Scheduled for Meadow Lane and Gratton Park Subdivisions

Residents in the surrounding areas may experience low water pressure during the work.

Tennessee 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force arrests Robert Nolen for synthetic THC, ecstasy

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Officials Friday arrested a man for possession of over 2 pounds of synthetic THC (the active ingredient in marijuana), also known as “Spice,” and ecstasy.

Robert Joseph Nolen, 32, who gave a 227 Old Trenton Road address was booked Friday on charges of possession of an imitation controlled substance and possession of MDMA. His bond was set at $50,000.

Clarksville Police reports Man passes away due to injuries from Motorcycle Crash

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, August 16th, Clarksville Police responded to a crash at Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Old Trenton Road. Brian Walker from Springfield Tennessee was unable to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a SUV.

Mr. Walker passed away this weekend from the injuries he received from the crash.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports Isolated Water Outage On Wilma Rudolph Boulevard

Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – A Clarksville Gas and Water construction crew has turned off water service to an isolated group of businesses at 1521-1527 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard located between the Red River Bridge and Old Trenton Road. Workers are repairing a twelve-inch water main leak and expect repairs to be complete by approximately 1:00pm.

All lanes of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard are passable; however motorists are advised to be alert to construction workers and equipment when approaching the work zone.

Clarksville Department of ElectricityClarksville, TN – Clarksville Department of Electricity reports a substation circuit which services the area around Nolen Road, Old Trenton Road, Sandlewood, Twin Rivers is out of service.

They have an engineer at the substation and a crew en route.
