Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – This week the Tennessee Titans (6-6) return from their bye week to host the reigning Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos (8-4). Kickoff at Nissan Stadium (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for noon CST on Sunday, December 11th.

This week’s game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF NewsChannel 5. Play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle will call the action alongside analyst Dan Fouts. Evan Washburn will report from the sidelines.

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Senior outside hitter Jada Stotts, of Austin Peay State University volleyball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

Stotts recorded a season-best 16 kills in the Lady Govs loss to USC Upstate, Saturday, to go along with three service aces and a block. For the weekend, the senior from Hoffman Estates, Illinois had 35 kills (3.89 kpg) and 38.5 points (4.28 ppg) at the Big Orange Bash, hosted by Clemson.

Austin Peay State University Football no match for Memphis Tigers in 63-0 loss

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUMemphis, TN – The Memphis Tigers scored on its first six offensive possessions, including five rushing touchdowns, as Austin Peay State University lost its season opener, 63-0, a contest played Saturday night at the Liberty Bowl.

It was APSU’s fourth straight season-opening loss—all to Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) teams. The Govs last season-opening win was a 38-6 home victory against Cumberland in the 2010 season.

APSU Governors Football ready to open season at Memphis today

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUClarksville, TN – A much different Austin Peay State University football team will kick off Year 2 of the Kirby Cannon Era when the Governors travel to West Tennessee to face Memphis in a 6:00pm, Saturday contest at the Liberty Bowl.

The Governors, coming off a 0-12 2013, enter the season with a roster makeover that has 39 freshman dotting the list, with 18 spots on the two-deep held by first-year players.
