Starkville, MS – No. 16 Tennessee went to one of the toughest environments in the SEC and dominated Mississippi State, 76-54, in Humphrey Coliseum on Tuesday night.

Starksville, MS – No. 16 Tennessee heads to Humphrey Coliseum to face one of the hottest teams in the SEC in Mississippi State on Tuesday night, February 27th. The game will tip at 6:00pm CT and will be televised live on SEC Network and streamed online via WatchESPN.
The Vols (21-7, 11-5 SEC) are coming off a pair of wins last week over Florida and Ole Miss. Admiral Schofield was named Co-SEC Player of the Week after averaging 20.5 points 7.5 rebounds and three assists in the wins. His week was highlighted by a dominant performance in Oxford during which he scored a career-high 25 points on an efficient 9-of-14 shooting en route to a 73-65 win over the Rebels. On the season, he ranks second on the team in scoring (12.8 ppg) and first in rebounding (6.9 rpg).

Knoxville, TN – Tennessee begins the back half of SEC play on Saturday when it travels to Starkville for a rematch with Mississippi State. Tipoff is set for 2:30pm CT on SEC Network.
The Vols (13-9, 5-4 SEC), winners of four straight games, are playing their second straight road contest after picking up an 87-77 win at Auburn on Tuesday night. It was UT’s fourth true road win of the season after having just achieved one such victory during the entire 2015-16 season.
That lone triumph away from home a year ago came at Humphrey Coliseum when Tennessee earned an 80-75 win over Mississippi State (13-8, 4-5 SEC).

Knoxville, TN – Robert Hubbs III scored 19 points to lead four Vols in double-figures as Tennessee took a 91-74 win over Mississippi State on Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Tennessee (10-9, 3-4 SEC) limited its mistakes, committing just seven turnovers against the Bulldogs (12-6, 3-3 SEC), and dominated the glass with a season-high 49 rebounds to Mississippi State’s 35. UT’s 14-rebound advantage was also its largest of the season. After an even first half, the Vols used a pair of second-half runs to take control of the game.
UT’s 91 points in the win marked its most in SEC play this season and the most MSU has surrendered this year.

Knoxville, TN – Tennessee kicks off a three-game homestand on Saturday when Mississippi State visits Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is slated for 5:00pm CT on SEC Network.
The Vols (9-9, 2-4 SEC) face their second-straight opponent from the Magnolia State after dropping a Tuesday night contest on the road at Ole Miss. Robert Hubbs III and Lamonte Turner scored 15 points apiece to lead UT while Jordan Bowden added 14 points.
Hubbs continues to lead UT offensively, averaging 14.4 ppg to go along with 4.9 rpg — the second-best mark on the team. Freshman Grant Williams, who paces the team with 5.7 rpg and 2.1 bpg, is second on the team in scoring at 10.5 ppg.

Starkville, MS – A career-high 24 points from Detrick Mostella led the Vols to their first road win of the season as they defeated Mississippi State, 80-75, on Saturday afternoon at Humphrey Coliseum in Starkville, MS.
Mostella kept his run of solid performances going as he scored 16 of his game-high 24 points in the second-half. The sophomore guard from Decatur, AL, also set a career best with five makes from long range.
UT posted a strong first-half performance and led, 38-27, at the break. After a back-and-forth first couple of minutes, the Vols rattled off a 13-0 run powered by back-to-back Devon Baulkman 3-pointers, to take an early 21-9 lead.
