The game will tip at 6:00pm CT and will be televised on ESPN2 and can also be viewed online through WatchESPN. Fans can listen live on their local Vol Network affiliate to hear Bob Kesling and Bert Bertelkamp describing the action.
It’s the second time UT has ever been ranked No. 1 in the country, joining the 2007-08 team.

Knoxville, TN – For the first time since 2010, a pair of AP Top-25 Teams will clash in Thompson-Boling Arena this Sunday, as the 20th-ranked Volunteers host No. 7 North Carolina. The game will tip at 2:00pm CT and will be televised live on ESPN and streamed online via WatchESPN.
Tennessee announced plans earlier in the week to “checker” Thompson-Boling Arena for next Sunday’s highly anticipated game against the defending national champion Tar Heels.
Fans planning to attend the sold-out showdown, which tips off at 2:00pm CT on ESPN, are encouraged to visit CheckerTBA.com to learn whether their seats are in a section designated to wear orange or white.
Tennessee at #7 North Carolina

Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee basketball program kicks off a stretch of four games in eight days when it travels to face No. 7 North Carolina on Sunday. Tipoff is set for 4:00pm CT on ESPN.
Tennessee (4-3) is riding a three-game winning streak heading into its first true road contest of the season. Most recently, the Vols rode a hot shooting night to a 90-50 victory over Presbyterian on Tuesday, tying the school record with 16 made 3-pointers in the game. Redshirt freshman Lamonte Turner converted 7-of-11 from beyond the arc en route to a season-best 24 points while true freshman Jordan Bowden added five treys and 21 points.

LP PENCIL Box, a collaborative non-profit venture between PENCIL Foundation and LP Building Products, offers Nashville Metro teachers the opportunity to acquire school supplies for the city’s most in-need children.

Nashville, TN – Tommie Campbell had the view that defensive backs have in their dreams.
The Titans rookie safety saw a wobbling pass and 90 yards of lush, open LP Field grass.
Seconds later, the seventh round draft pick and former airport janitor, brought thousands to their feet by taking the interception for a touchdown. Campbell had enough gas in his tank to punctuate the return by putting one hand on his helmet in a tribute to Deion Sanders before high-fiving fans in the front row.
“I guess the quarterback and receiver weren’t on the same page,” Campbell said. “I saw the ball, broke on the ball and caught the ball first because I have had trouble with that at practice. Tennessee Titans (2-2) at Dallas Cowboys (1-2)
Nashville, TN – After suffering a 26-20 loss at home to the Denver Broncos, the Tennessee Titans (2-2) look to rebound this week against a rested Dallas Cowboys team that is coming out of its bye week. Kickoff at Cowboys Stadium (capacity 80,000) is scheduled for 3:15pm CDT on Sunday, October 10th.
The Titans and Cowboys, who spent three and a half decades as in-state rivals when the Titans played in Houston as the Oilers, have met sparingly through the years in the regular season.
