Sean Halton, Jeremy Hermida, Hunter Morris Homer To Power Nashville Offense
Round Rock, TX – Sean Halton, Jeremy Hermida, and Hunter Morris each homered to power the Nashville Sounds to a 13-6 victory over the Round Rock Express in their season finale on Monday afternoon at The Dell Diamond.
Nashville (77-67), which gained a split of the season-ending six-game series against Round Rock, finished the year with the 23rd winning campaign in the franchise’s 37-year history. The Sounds spent 100 of the 152 days of the 2014 PCL season in first place.

Third Baseman Jason Rogers Goes Yard Three Times in 12 Innings
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds (66-56) completed a doubleheader sweep over the Round Rock Express on Sunday night at Greer Stadium, largely in part to third baseman Jason Rogers, who had three home runs and 9 RBIs on the night.
In the opener, Rogers belted a pair of homers and drove in a career-high six RBIs to lead the Nashville Sounds to a 13-4 win over the visiting Round Rock Express.

Nashville (51-80), which held a 5-1 lead in the fifth before Round Rock plated six unanswered runs, lost four of five to the Express in the series.

Sounds Allow Franchise-Most 20 Runs In Loss
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds surrendered the most runs in the franchise’s 36-year history Monday night at Greer Stadium, losing 20-2 to the visiting Round Rock Express.
The Sounds previous high of 19 runs allowed, which happened on four occasions, was surpassed in the eighth inning when Aaron Cunningham hit his second home run of the night, a two-run jack off the clock in the guitar scoreboard.

In the Nashville ninth, Khris Davis legged out a one-out infield single against Nate Robertson (2-4) and later stole second with two outs to place himself in scoring position for Caleb Gindl, who hit a grounder to second base that was booted by Yangervis Solarte to allow Davis to race home with the game-winning run.

Round Rock, TX – A rough start by rehabbing big leaguer Chris Narveson (0-1) defined the night for the Nashville Sounds, who lost 6-2 to the Round Rock Express Tuesday at The Dell Diamond and dropped the series by a 3-1 margin.
Narveson, making his second rehab start for the Sounds this season, worked a 10-pitch 1-2-3 first inning before allowing six Express runs to cross in the second inning.
Round Rock, TX – The Nashville Sounds blew a ninth-inning lead but recovered to post a 7-5, 12-inning victory over the Round Rock Express on Monday evening at The Dell Diamond.
In the top of the twelfth, the Sounds snapped a string of 16 consecutive batters retired by Round Rock pitching when Blake Lalli reached on a one-out infield single off Nate Robertson (1-2). Josh Prince followed with a walk before Stephen Parker hit a liner to center that was misjudged by Engel Beltre, resulting in a go-ahead RBI double that put Nashville on top, 6-5. Anderson De La Rosa lifted a sac fly to right that gave the Sounds a two-run cushion.

Round Rock, TX – The Nashville Sounds had the Round Rock Express down to their final five outs Friday night at Dell Diamond, but could not hold off a late rally and lost in extras by a 5-4 margin; their seventh straight loss.
The Sounds led through the first seven innings, but Round Rock manufactured a pair of runs in the eighth off of Travis Webb to level the game, 4-4, leading to Nashville’s first extra-innings game of the year.
