Rivers and Spires Festival Sets New Attendance Record this year

 

Clarksville Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The 2016 Rivers and Spires Festival shattered previous attendance records, bringing over 49,000 people into downtown Clarksville over the April 14th-16th weekend. This year’s event was the largest Rivers and Spires to date with the 2010 Festival previously holding the record at 42,073 when the Charlie Daniels Band performed.

“The Festival definitely did what it was supposed to do; bring people downtown, promote the community and offer free family entertainment for all ages. We are very pleased with how the event went this year,” said Theresa Harrington, Executive Director of Visit Clarksville.

Come out to Land Between the Lakes’ Woodlands Nature Station for Girl Scout Day, March 28th

 

Land Between the Lakes - LBLGolden Pond, KY – Woodlands Nature Station, at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area, will host Girl Scout Day on March 28th, ongoing from 10:00am-3:00pm.

Fireball Run Adventurally in Clarksville on Thursday

 

Public Square will be Closed Off

Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, September 29th and Friday, September 30th, the Fireball Run Adventurally will be in Clarksville, TN as part of their 2,500 mile race and scavenger hunt.

Everyone in the community is encouraged to come out to Public Square, Downtown Clarksville, on Thursday around 4:00pm and on Friday at 9:00am to see the cars and meet the participants.
