Clarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle burglary suspect operating in the Sango area.
A suspect was seen on video surveillance in the Nick’s Ridge subdivision. Vehicles in the Ivy Bend, Bellshire, Stonecrest and South Woodson subdivisions were also burglarized.
Personal items and a firearm were reported stolen. With the exception of one vehicle where a rock was used to break the window, there were no signs of forced entry on the burglarized vehicles.
Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Lieutenant Steve Heise and Sergeant Bishop Delaney on their recent promotions.
Lieutenant Heise began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in August 2001 as a Deputy in the Patrol Division. He was promoted to Corporal/Field Training Officer in August 2005 and to Investigator in November 2010.
Heise was promoted to Investigator Sergeant in August 2013. He brings 18 years of experience to his new position.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) have recovered over $1500 worth of stolen property taken from multiple vehicles.
Seventeen vehicles were burglarized sometime between Sunday evening and early Monday morning in the Farmington Subdivision.
Stolen items included iPads, cell phones, gift cards, cash, credit cards, keys, personal products, household items, clothing, jewelry, wallets, coins, and ID’s.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Dollar Store robbery suspect in custody in Logan County Kentucky
?Montgomery County, TN – The suspect from Sunday night’s robbery of the Dollar General Store on Highway 12 is in custody and currently being held in the Logan County, KY jail and is awaiting extradition back to Montgomery County.
?Joshua Rickerson, 21, who gave a Russellville, KY address will be booked into the Montgomery County Jail on an armed robbery charge. Bond has been set at $250,000.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are looking for Dollar General Armed Robbery Suspect
Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are looking for a suspect from a robbery that occurred late Sunday night at the Dollar General Store on Highway 12 near the Cheatham County line.
Victims described the man as a young white male, approximately 17 to 23 years old with dirty brown hair wearing a blue bandana on his face and a white and blue plaid shirt. He also had a tattoo on his left forearm. The suspect was seen driving an older model silver Nissan Maxima.
Montgomery County, TN – Just days after her family reported her missing, a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Investigator was able to track down a kidnapping victim and arrest her alleged captor.
Gary Nations, 32, who gave a Hendersonville, Tennessee address was charged by MCSO officials with kidnapping and aggravated assault. He already had warrants out for violation of probation and escape. His bond was set at $255,000.
Citizens learn about the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, protection against fraud at community meeting
Montgomery County, TN – Citizens who attending Saturday’s Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Community Information Exchange learned more about the SO and how to protect themselves from forgery and fraud.
The meeting, held at Living Hope Baptist Church, was kicked off by host Pastor Derek Smith.
“We are glad to host this meeting, and appreciate everything you all do to keep us safe,” Smith said.
Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson spoke to everyone about the duties of the Sheriff’s Office, and explained how the various sections work.
Montgomery County, TN – Sheriff John Fuson and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) will be hosting a series of three informational meetings dubbed Community Information Exchanges, to address the concerns of the community and get feedback from citizens about activity in their particular area of the county.
The first meeting will be for citizens in the eastern part of Montgomery County (zones 2 & 3, see graphic) and will be held 10:00am, Saturday, March 21st at Living Hope Baptist Church, 255 Little Hope Church Road in Clarksville, TN.
Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports One victim of an early Sunday morning shooting at a Corbondale Road party died last night.
Arianna Spencer, 19, of Clarksville, died at 10:32pm last night from injuries sustained from the shooting.

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson and several of his staff came together Thursday night to inform citizens gathered at Olivet Free Will Baptist Church. Reverend Chris Camp began the meeting by thanking the Sheriff and the MCSO for all they do.
“Anytime I go to something (the Sheriff) is always there,” Camp said, adding that he and his staff go “above and beyond” for the community.
