The Sounds wrap the homestand winning seven of the eight to complete their winningest homestand greater than four games since the 2003 season.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds had their season-best six game win streak snapped Sunday night at Greer Stadium, losing the lead in the last inning to the Tucson Padres in the 8-5 defeat.
Trailing 5-4 in the ninth inning with the bases loaded, first baseman Cody Decker drove a triple to right field to flip the script on the Sounds for a 6-5 advantage. The Padres added one more run on Chris Robinson’s squeeze bunt single to third base.
Nashville’s Hot Bats Crank 16 Hits including Three Home Runs
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds extended their season-best winning streak to six games with a 10-6 victory over the Tucson Padres in front of 8,731 fans on Saturday evening at Greer Stadium.
The series opener victory on Star Wars Night featured 16 hits by the Sounds (44-71), including one by every member of the starting lineup. Red-hot hitters Robinzon Diaz and Eugenio Velez each went 3-for-4 to pace Nashville, which posted a double-digit run total for the sixth time this season. Blake Lalli, Josh Prince, and Hainley Statia also contributed multi-hit efforts.
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds downed the Las Vegas 51s by a 4-2 margin Friday night in front of 8,993 fans at Greer Stadium to pick up the team’s first series sweep of the season. The win extends the team’s season-best winning streak to five games.
Tied 2-2 in the fourth inning, Sounds shortstop Josh Prince dropped a triple into right field to lead off the frame and came around to score on a Blake Lalli’s double.
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds return to Greer Stadium on Tuesday, July 30th, for their ninth homestand of the season.
The stand is the last to feature eight games, beginning with a four-game series with the Las Vegas 51s (New York Mets affiliate) spanning July 30th-August 2nd, and another with the Tucson Padres (San Diego Padres affiliate).
The homestand will be highlighted by two fireworks shows, two giveaway nights, Star Wars Night and the final BURGER KING Throwback Thursday and Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHTS.

The homestand will be highlighted by BURGER KING Throwback Thursday, Sounds Music Industry Night and the first-ever Peanut Free Night at Greer Stadium.
Season Opener Slated For April 4th At Greer Stadium
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds announced their 2013 playing schedule today and will host 72 games at Greer Stadium during their 36th season of competition.
The Sounds will open and close the campaign at home, kicking off the Pacific Coast League season on Thursday, April 4th when they take the field at Greer against the New Orleans Zephyrs and concluding the year with a four-game series against the division-rival Iowa Cubs that culminates on Labor Day.

Tucson, AZ – Starting pitcher Seth McClung threw seven shutout innings to guide the Nashville Sounds to a 2-1 victory over the Tucson Padres on Sunday night at Kino Stadium.
In his best pitching performance and third quality start of the season, the 31-year-old McClung (1-4) surrendered five hits while walking and striking out four in 104 pitches (62 strikes) for his first victory. Only two of McClung’s five hits allowed left the infield.

Tucson, AZ – Third baseman Andy Gonzalez delivered a go-ahead, two-run single with two outs in the eighth inning for a 4-3 victory over the Tucson Padres on Friday evening at Kino Stadium.
Trailing 2-3 entering the eighth, second baseman Eric Farris got things started by singling, stealing second base, and reaching third on a throwing error. After first baseman Erick Almonte and right fielder Jordan Brown worked two-out walks, Gonzalez grounded a two-run single up the middle to plate Farris an Almonte. The game-winning RBI was Gonzalez’s second in the last three games.
