Govs to make two special presentations on final home weekend

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team will host Southeast Missouri with the Ohio Valley Conference’s regular-season title waiting in the wings. In addition to the three-game series, the Governors will make special presentations before the beginning of each day’s action, slated for 1:00pm both Saturday and Sunday.

Prior to Saturday’s doubleheader, the university and its athletics department will recognize head coach Gary McClure for reaching the 700-win milestone, May 1st, at Morehead State. McClure became just the second OVC head coach – joining Murray State legend Johnny Reagan – to post 700 wins while a member of the OVC.

Sunday’s contest is Austin Peay’s final regular-season home contest and the baseball team will recognize its seven seniors prior to that day’s first pitch. Seniors Eric Davis, Blake Frazier, Shayne Martin, Dylan Ray, Jack Snodgrass, Haskell Fink and Ryne Harper will join their families for the special recognition.
