APSU Govs Baseball hosts Free Skills Clinic

Clarksville, TN – Despite a threat of weather in the area, Austin Peay’s baseball team hosted a small group of area youth at its free post game skills clinic following a 9-3 Ohio Valley Conference win against Morehead State.

The Governors players and coaching staff began by guiding the group through stretching and throwing drills on the fields. The group then moved to the indoor hitting facility for hitting stations which included soft-toss and tee instruction.

The clinic concluded with infield and outfield drills followed by a baserunning session with the full group.

Austin Peay closes out the home portion of its schedule with a three-game OVC series against SIU Edwardsville, beginning Thursday, May 16th.
