Bowling Green, KY – Austin Peay State University men’s golf team sits in a seventh-place after the first two rounds of the WKU Kenny Perry Invitational, being played at The Club at Olde Stone.

Jacksonville State (587) is in second, followed by host Western Kentucky (590), Eastern Kentucky (591), Oakland (597) and Tennessee Tech (598).
The Governors difficult day included being force to count an 80 score for the first time this season in the second round.
Chris Baker led the Govs with back-to-back 73 rounds, leaving him tied for 11th. Baker tied for second for the second round with four birdies and was fifth in par 4 scoring. Fellow junior Austin Kramer followed with round of 75-74, his 149 tying him for 22nd. Freshman Jonas Vaisanen was one shot back at 75-75=150.
Senior Tucker Wallace shot an opening-round 76 before struggling to a second-round 83. Meanwhile, sophomore Erik Hedberg, playing in his first fall tourney, shot back-to-back 80s.
The tourney’s final round will conclude Tuesday, weather permitting on the par-72, 7319-yard layout.
