Clarksville Police Department Saturation Patrol Statistics from July 31st – August 1st, 2015

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired saturation patrols on July 31st and August 1st, which was partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

During this time, there were 141 vehicles stopped and 109 individuals charged.

    DUI’s are always exceedingly rare in these Saturation Patrols which in my opinion shows it is more about generating ticket and court revenues instead of public safety.
