3rd Annual Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race set for August 13th, 2016
Montgomery County, TN – The 3rd Annual “Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race” is being held on Saturday Night August 13th 2016 at Beachaven Winery on Dunlop Lane in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The 5K will start at 9:00pm and the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:30pm.
This event is being held to raise funding for a scholarship in Deputy Bubba Johnson’s name for the children of local Public Safety Personal attending Austin Peay State University.
3rd Annual Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race
We have CHIP TIMING this year, done by the Clarksville Running Club!
This years Road Race will also feature a Silent Auction, Food Trucks, Live Music by Mike Robinson, and Pre Order for the Commemorative Wine Bottles!
There is a $25.00 entry fee for the 5K and $5.00 for the 1 mile Fun Run. If you are running the 5K you can run in the Fun Run for free, no need to sign up for both!
All 5K runners who register before MIDNIGHT on July 15th will receive a free race t-shirt. Extra shirts can be purchased by both 5K runners and the 1 Mile Fun Runners who register before midnight on July 15th.
The first 500 Registered 5K Runners will receive a “Swag Bag” with items from local merchants.
Registration cut-off is MIDNIGHT on August 7th 2016.
If you would like to purchase a t-shirt without running or need extra t-shirts after you register contact Jennifer Johnson at
T Shirts are $15.00 each and must be ordered before MIDNIGHT on July 15th as they will all be printed at one time.
Custom medals for 1st place and 2nd place male and female in 6 age divisions and custom medals for the 1st Male and Female overall.

Event details and schedule
Packet Pickup will be at the Runners Hub on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Friday the 12th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm; and race day at the Winery from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Please bring a Photo ID with you!
The 5K will start at 9:00pm and the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:30pm.
