Clarksville Police reports Motorcycle Crash Sends One to Hospital

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On December 2nd, 2017 around 4:02pm, Clarksville Police reports a 2011 GMC Terrain, driven by a female in her 60s was southbound in the left turn only lane on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

She was turning left into a business at 1767 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and did not yield to a motorcycle traveling north on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The Yamaha motorcycle ridden by a male in his 40s collided with the 2011 GMC.

Traffic flow on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard was slowed for over an hour.

The male rider sustained multiple injuries and was taken by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Critical condition. The driver of the GMC was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending. The lead investigator is Officer Van Beber.
