Clarksville, TN – As the calendar changes over from 2018 to 2019 this week it also brings the beginning of basketball’s second season for the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Governors, as the men’s and women’s teams begin the Ohio Valley Conference part of their schedules.
The Govs will host Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State at the Dunn Center on January 3rd and 5th to open conference play with both teams needing to get off to a quick start with a four-game road swing following the opening weekend of OVC play.
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators dominated the Philadelphia Flyers tonight at Bridgestone Arena behind the shutout performance of Juuse Saros in goal, 4-0.
This was the second shutout of the season for Saros and was only his second start in two weeks. Saros stopped all 32 shots on goal tonight and was named the first star of the game.
The two teams played a back and forth first period with no scoring before the intermission. That all changed in the second period.

Clarksville, TN – Here we are at the end of another year. We will be flooded with New Year’s resolutions, and we might even make some ourselves.
The gyms will be packed. The latest diet fads will be started and new relationships will begin. Some relationships will end and a “fresh start” will be the order of the day.
I’ve been down that road so many times that I can’t even count.
I’ve reached the point in my life, that making change can occur at any moment. I don’t need to wait on the calendar to decide if I need to shift gears in my life. If I need to do it, I just do it, or at least TRY to. It’s not always easy to make necessary changes.
