Clarksville Police release Preliminary Crash Investigation information on Five Car Accident on Warfield Boulevard
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers are still in the early stages of a crash investigation involving five vehicles on Warfield Boulevard at Rossview Road. Three vehicles were totally engulfed in fire, one vehicle was partially burned, and a fifth vehicle had some ash on it with minor damage.
The sequence of events began around 3:00pm today, Monday, December 16th, 2019, at the intersection of Warfield Boulevard and Rossview Road, when a woman in her 80s, driving a Honda Accord, collided with a Jeep Liberty and then a Honda Odyssey.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police say Teyron Bland, age 30, from Clarksville, out on bond after being arrested November 27th, for allegedly robbing a man out of Georgia that he met through the Grindr app, has been arrested again.
Police responded to a call around 1:00pm today, Monday, December 16th, 2019, in reference to threats. A 48 year Clarksville man claimed Bland had contacted him through the Grindr app and they agreed to meet at Bland’s residence.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police say Warfield Boulevard (eastbound) has a single lane open heading toward Madison Street. Warfield Boulevard heading toward St. Bethlehem (westbound) has both lanes open for travel
CPD is awaiting an inspection of the other eastbound lane to confirm it is safe for motorists to drive on without causing vehicle damage.

Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has issued a Flood Advisory for Northeastern Montgomery County. The Advisory is also for North central Davidson County, Sumner County, Northeastern Cheatham County, Northwestern Macon County, and Robertson County in Middle Tennessee until 5:30pm CT.
This includes the following: Interstate 65 between mile markers 101 & 121 and Interstate 24 between mile markers 16 & 33.
Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that the Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks equipped with an electric tailgate latch release switch mounted in the tailgate handle.
Water may enter the electrical wiring system and cause a short circuit, activating the switch and releasing the tailgate latches.
Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flash flood watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County as well as a portion of Middle Tennessee.
At 1:18pm CT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Clarksville to 10 miles north of Dickson. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
