Clarksville Christian SchoolClarksville, TN – Clarksville Christian School is pleased to welcome veteran school administrator, Jerry Lawrence, as Upper School Principal beginning with the 2021-22 school year. During his twenty-five year career in education, he has worked in both public and private school settings as a teacher, coach, and administrator.

Lawrence is coming to CCS from Lubbock Christian School, where he has worked for the past 8 years.

In her thirteen-year career at CCS prior to this appointment, she has served as a teacher, team leader, and, most recently, as School Principal.

Travis has been connected with the school since before it opened in 2007.

Clarksville Christian Basketball Teams Win Conference Championship Titles

 

Clarksville Christian SchoolClarksville, TN – Earlier this week before an enthusiastic home crowd at Centurion Gymnasium, the Lady Centurions defeated Dayspring Academy 75-20 to earn their fourth consecutive TNCAA Conference Championship. 

In a game where every player contributed, Junior Caroline Watts led the team in scoring with 24, and Junior Alyssa Davis added 22.  Both Watts and Davis had 4 steals a piece in the contest.

Clarksville Christian COVID-19 Team Receives Board Commendation as 100th Day of School Approaches

 

Clarksville Christian SchoolClarksville, TN – During a special ceremony on Friday, members of the Clarksville Christian School COVID-19 Rapid Response Team received Commendations from the CCS Board of Directors. This team is composed of doctors, nurses, and other safety experts, who are also CCS parents.

The group was assembled in Spring 2020 for the purpose of performing research and making recommendations regarding how CCS might open safely for the 2020-21 school year. Through their help, CCS opened on time and as scheduled last August.

Wednesday marked the first day students, faculty and staff have been back on campus together since the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic started this past spring. Pre-K through 12th grade students were present on campus to begin the new year.

After successfully navigating the COVID-19 Coronavirus crisis during the recent school year, school President, Dr. Brad Moser, said his administrative team decided in May that CCS had the capability of safely resuming campus-based classes this fall.

Clarksville Christian School students continue learning using Virtual Classrooms during the COVID-19 pandemic

Like several other schools in the region and around the country, CCS quickly adapted to a new reality by launching full on into virtual learning amidst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The CCS hybrid learning program employs virtual platforms that ensure teachers and students from Pre-K through 12th grade are able to stay connected and continue their educational journey.

Clarksville Christian SchoolClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Christian School (CCS) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Brad Moser as the school’s inaugural President. Moser was selected unanimously by the CCS Presidential Search Committee following a comprehensive, nationwide search campaign.

Dr. Moser will serve as the school’s chief academic officer, spiritual leader, and visionary guide. He is charged with advancing the exceptional standard of success at Clarksville Christian School.
