Clarksville, TN – After Thursday’s 15-point victory over Eastern Kentucky, Govs head coach Dave Loos said Saturday’s game against Jacksonville State would determine how the Govs performed the rest of this season.
If Saturday’s game is any indication, it could be one entertaining finish.

Austin Peay Governors vs. Jacksonville State
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay will play host to Jacksonville State, 7:30pm, Saturday, in an Ohio Valley Conference contest. It is the only time this season that these two teams will play each other in the regular season.
Shooting has been an issue for the Govs this season, at least before the Govs’ 80-65 victory, Thursday night against Eastern Kentucky. For the season, APSU is shooting 43.3 percent, but that was bolstered by a 29 of 48 (60.4 percent) night against Eastern Kentucky.
Austin Peay Governors vs. Eastern Kentucky
Clarksville, TN – In one respect, Austin Peay doesn’t want to forget. In another vein, the Governors need to have a short memory.

That frustrating defeat certainly has been too fresh on the Govs mind.
