Four inducted into APSU Athletics Hall of Fame Class SaturdayAPSU Sports Information
Chelsea Harris, the greatest women’s golfer in program history; Drake Reed, an all-time great who conquered the OVC during one of the most dominant eras of APSU basketball; and Ron Sebree, a vaunted lineman for the 1977 Ohio Valley Conference football team, were inducted along with the late Tom Lincoln, a star on the hardwood and the gridiron in the late 1940s, who was this year’s Honors category recipient. APSU to induct Four Governor greats into Athletics Hall of FameAPSU Sports Information
Drake Reed, a three-time All-Ohio Valley Conference basketball player and 2008 OVC Champion; Chelsea Harris, the 2010 OVC Women’s Golf Player of the Year and Austin Peay’s lone OVC Championship medalist; and Ron Sebree, one of the league’s most fearsome defensive linemen and a linchpin with the 1977 championship team have been selected for induction as part of the Austin Peay Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2017.

APSU Athlete of the Week Morgan KauffmanAPSU Sports Information
Kauffman earned All-Tournament honors at the 2016 Ohio Valley Conference Women’s Golf Championships, placing fifth with a three-round 224 (75-76-73) after moving up three spots to lead the Lady Govs to a fifth-place team finish. She is Austin Peay’s first All-Tournament player since Chelsea Harris’ string of four straight all-tournament honors (2008-11).

When the Austin Peay State University head women’s golf coach gave birth to her first child, Kaitlyn Hope (or Boomer, as she’s was nicknamed by the Lady Govs golfers during Robson’s pregnancy after listening to an ultrasound), last summer, she knew that things would be different in her professional and personal life.
