Guests are invited to come and enjoy Tennessee’s historic home decorated in this year’s theme, Songs of the Season, where each tree will bring to life classic Christmas carols.

Land Between the Lake’s The Homeplace to hold a Traditional 1850 Christmas

 

Land Between the Lakes - LBLLand Between the Lakes, KY/TN – The Homeplace 1850s Farm invites members of the public to experience Christmas in 1850 on Saturday, November 28th, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area.

Adults and children alike can whisper their Christmas wishes to Santa Claus and participate in traditional Christmas activities. Homeplace admission includes Christmas in 1850 programs:  $5.00 ages 13 and up, $3.00 ages 5-12, and free ages 4 and under. All ages are welcome at this family event.

First, you need to understand that most authorities agree that the actual 12 days of Christmas begin on Christmas Day or the following day, December 26, and end on Epiphany, January 6, the day reputed to be the time when the Three Kings (or Magi) presented their gifts to the Christ Child.

Fort Campbell Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

 

Fort Campbell KY, 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell will host its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony December 7th at 4:45pm, in front of McAuliffe Hall, division headquarters for the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).

The annual event is also when Santa arrives at Fort Campbell.
