Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Golf Cart Crossings are located along Robert C. Lee Road.
The warning signs, flashing lights and painted crossing, constitute official Fort Campbell traffic signals. Vehicles traveling on the road, must stop and allow the carts (and walking golfers) to cross safely.
Walkers and golf cart drivers should always push the button for the flashing lights and then watch to make sure vehicles are slowing or stopping.
Fort Campbell, KY – In honor of the contributions and sacrifices made by military Retirees, Veterans, survivors and their Families, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell will host a Soldiers and Families for Life Appreciation Week September 21st-24th.
The week-long event will be held at various locations on the installation and will include an assortment of activities including a two-day job fair, Retiree appreciation day, benefits fair, golf tournament and street fair.

It will be a shotgun start at 11:00am. The cost is $30.00 per person.
Flights are broken and winners will be announced immediately following the conclusion of play.
Clarksville, TN – Since hosting its inaugural event in 2010, the Mickey Fisher Memorial Golf Tournament has returned every summer to raise money for scholarships – and will do so again next month.
The Mickey Fisher Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11th at Cole Park at Fort Campbell, KY.

Clarksville, TN – The annual Governors Golf Classic has a new partner and name for 2015.
In fact, APSU Athletics and the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to combine their two golf tournaments into the Governors and Chamber Community Golf Classic and Partner Celebration dinner, June 26th.
Beginning with a 10:30am shotgun start at four local courses (Clarksville Country Club, Cole Park at Fort Campbell, Swan Lake Golf Course and The Links at Novadell) the four-player, best-ball scramble promises to surpass last year’s 28th annual APSU event, which saw a record 280 participants in the two-course (Swan Lake and Clarksville Country Club) event.
Estep Wellness Center wants you to feel comfortable while you are there so they are now offering a free Fitness Orientation for patrons.
This orientation, led by Certified Personal Trainers, will introduce you to Estep while educating you on the proper usage of equipment and encouraging correct form to prevent injuries.
The tournament was established in 2010 as an endowment to benefit dependents of soldiers at Fort Campbell, with a scholarship to attend Austin Peay State University.
Mickey Fisher was a native Clarksvillian. He was an outstanding athlete playing on both the Clarksville High School basketball and golf teams. He furthered his education at Austin Peay State University and added to his sports legacy on their basketball court.
Brian Balthrop wins second Commanding General’s title; Brad Van Kirk three-peats in Senior’s Division
Clarksville, TN – Being the only player to post two under-par rounds, June 14th and 15th at Cole Park Golf Course, Brian Balthrop recorded his second Commanding General’s Golf Tournament win in the past three years with a one-shot victory.
Balthrop finished with a two-round total of 139 (71-68), edging Wendy’s Invitational champion Tyler Phillips (72-68—140) by a shot, while first round leader Josh Black took third place (68-74—142), three shots back.
“I just tried to go bogey free,” Balthrop said. “Bogies early in the second round really hamper the momentum you have going in.
Clarksville, TN – Josh Black shot an opening round of four-under 68, June 14th at Cole Park Golf Course, to lead the Champion Flight of the Open Division at the Commanding General’s Golf Tournament by two shots.
Black was one of four golfers to break par in the Open Division, which includes Jim Mashburn at 2-under 70 and defending champion Jeff Chandler at 1-under 71 – matched by Brian Balthrop.
Wendy’s champion Tyler Phillips is four shots back after an even-par round of 72, with Colin Welker, Drew Miller, Jonathan Shuskey at coming at a 1-over 73 – with five other golfers at 2-over 74.
In the Open Division First Flight, there is a logjam at the top with David Sheron Sr., Lafran Marks, Todd Dalton, Todd Morris and Weston Sartain at tied after 18 holes of play with rounds of 6-over 78. «Read the rest of this article»
