Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, July 25th, 2017 around 1:30am, Clarksville Police report three men armed with handguns entered the Exxon on Cracker Barrel Drive.
One of the men, who had two tear drop tattoos near his right eye, demanded and received money from the clerk.
In the meantime, the other two men were stealing seven cartons of NEWPORT cigarettes and other items from the store.
Clarksville, TN – On May 16th, 2017, Clarksville Police Officer Seth Traughber responded to a suspicious activity call at Exxon Hi Road on Highway 76 and was struck by the fleeing suspect’s vehicle.
On May 17th, in a joint effort between Nashville Metro Police Department and Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office, Billy McNeil was located on Higdon Road, in Cheatham County and was taken into custody without incident.
Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, May 16th, 2017, around 3:15pm, Clarksville Police Officer Seth Traughber responded to a suspicious activity call at Exxon Hi Road on Highway 76.
A man had been on the lot for about 45 minutes and was thought to be on drugs. When the officer arrived on scene, medics were already there and, after several attempts, were able to wake the man up. It was noted by medics, there were a couple of narcotic prescriptions on the front seat.
Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from April 5th, 2017
Clarksville, TN – On April 5th, 2017, ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) Agents with the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted compliance checks on 13 business targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.
All 13 business were found to be in compliance and no alcohol was sold to underage persons.
It is a rarity that all business are found in compliance and the Clarksville Police Department would like to thank all the businesses for properly training their staff and complying with the law.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Channing Bartel is trying to identify two suspects involved in a vehicle burglary and is requesting public assistance.
In the early morning hours of August 7th, 2016 (Sunday), a vehicle was broken into on South Jot Drive. The victim’s purse with her credit card was stolen.
Soon after the burglary, two suspects were seen using the credit card at three different locations.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective John Bushnell is investigating a Robbery that occurred at the Exxon Hi Road at Exit 11 on March 25th, 2016 between 2:30pm and 3:30pm and is requesting public assistance.
The victims were parked in front of the business in a small black SUV. One victim stated that a big black Dodge pickup truck with front end damage pulled up, and a white male and white female approached them.
Clarksville Police Department cites Kangaroo Express during March 9th Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation
Clarksville, TN – On March 9th, 2016, Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operation Unit conducted operations targeting the sales of alcohol to underage persons.
Compliance checks were done on 14 businesses with 13 businesses being found in compliance and 1 business, Kangaroo Express at 1874 Memorial Drive, cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons.
Clarksville, TN – In the early morning hours this morning September 2nd, 2015, Clarksville Police Officers responded to two Armed Robberies.
The first robbery occurred at 12:31am at the Exxon Hi Road near Exit 4 just north of I-24 on Cracker Barrel Drive. The second robbery occurred at 1:44am at the Exxon Hi Road near Exit 11 just south of I-24 on Hwy 76.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Howard Gillespie is trying to identify a suspect responsible for an Armed Robbery that occurred at the Exxon Hi Road at 3880 Trenton Road and is requesting public assistance.
The Robbery took place on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 at 3:10am. A witness stated that the suspect was a black male weighing approximately 160lbs, and approximately 5′ 8” in height.
CPD lists details on the Four Robberies
Clarksville, TN – In the early morning hours of Monday, August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th, 2015, Clarksville Police Officers responded to four robberies. In three of the robberies, the suspect’s description matched.
The first robbery reportedly occurred at 4015 Trenton Road (Exxon Hi-Road) Monday morning around 2:44am. A black male wearing a black knit hat, green balaclava face mask, military-style camouflage shirt, gray pants, gloves, and a military-style camouflage backpack entered the business and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun with a black barrel. The suspect then demanded money and left the area on foot.
