Clarksville-Montgomery County under Freeze Watch for Monday morning

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a freeze watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County and all of Middle Tennessee for Monday, November 2nd, 2020 from 3:00am until 8:00am

Sub-freezing temperatures are expected to be as low as 26 degrees.

Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Cold, Blustery Halloween expected for Clarskville-Montgomery County

 

National Weather ServiceClarksville, TN – The National Weather Service reports that after a storm system brings 1 to 2 inches of rainfall tonight, Thursday, October 30th, to Clarksville-Montgomery County and parts of Middle Tennessee, the system will work off to our northeast by Thursday afternoon.

As the system exits, colder air will begin to spread across the mid state. Early Thursday morning, temperatures will start out in the mid 40s far northwest, to the lower to mid 60s Plateau. By late afternoon, temperatures will fall into the upper 30s to mid 40s.

Clarksville-Montgomery County under Freeze Watch for Saturday morning

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a freeze watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County which is in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning.

Strong west winds will continue across the Cumberland Plateau counties through the afternoon. Sustained west winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph are expected. Winds will subside late this afternoon into the evening.

In addition, low temperatures will fall into the low to mid 30s early Saturday morning across the watch area. Freezing temperatures could damage or kill sensitive vegetation if left unprotected.

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has issued a freeze watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County which is in effect from late Sunday night through Monday morning.

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has issued a freeze watch which is in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning for Clarksville-Montgomery County and most of Middle Tennessee. Widespread freezing temperatures are expected Friday night.

A cold air mass will settle over the area Friday night and Saturday morning and will allow temperatures to drop to freezing at many locations. Areas of heavy frost will also be likely.

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has issued a freeze watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County as well as parts of Middle Tennessee which is in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning.

After several days of mild temperatures a cold front is bringing colder temperatures to Middle Tennessee. Temperatures late Friday night and Saturday morning will be in the 20s with a hard freeze possible at many locations.

National Weather Service issues Freeze Watch for Clarksville Montgomery County this Weekend

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a freeze watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County as well as parts of Middle Tennessee.

The watch is in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning. A freeze watch has also been issued from late Saturday night through Sunday morning.

Overnight lows Friday night will get down to the upper 20s to around 32 for most of the area. Saturday night lows will be a bit colder from the mid 20s to around 30.

Clarksville-Montgomery County under Freeze Watch Tuesday night through Wednesday morning

 

Wind Advisory through Tuesday Afternoon

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – A strong cold front will sweep across Middle Tennessee late this afternoon and evening. Owing to a strong pressure gradient today, windy conditions will exist across the mid state.

Sustained wind speeds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts to 35 mph or higher will be common. By Tuesday afternoon, winds will finally begin to weaken.
