Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Flood Warning for the Cumberland River at Clarksville from this evening until Thursday morning, April 1st, 2021.
At 8:00pm CT Sunday, the stage was 45.1 feet and rising. The flood stage is 46.0 feet. Minor flooding is forecast.
The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 49.1 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below the flood stage early Thursday morning.
Clarksville, TN – On Monday, June 22nd, 2020 the Clarksville Gas and Water Department has planned a water outage at 8:00am on a section of Highway 48/Cumberland Drive from Hillwood Drive to Southern Parkway for fire hydrant replacement work.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has announces a planned water outage overnight on Tuesday, July 9th, at 10:00pm for water main improvement work on a section of Highway 48/13 from Hillwood Drive to Southern Parkway, on Greenland Farms Drive from Oak Hill Drive to Highway 48/13 and the Clarksville Academy Sports Complex.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports that there is a water main leak on Hawkins Road near the Highway 43/13 intersection that’s affecting residents between Hawkins Road and Greenland Farms Drive in the Greenland Farms Subdivision and Greenland Farms East Subdivision.

Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service reports water levels on the Cumberland River from the Nashville area to Ashland City have crested and are beginning to subside, and most locations should fall below Flood Stage by this evening.
Near Clarksville and Dover, river levels will continue to rise slightly, before cresting later this evening. At Clarksville, the Cumberland River is projected to crest at 51.5 feet around midnight tonight. The Cumberland River will crest just after midnight in Dover at 66.8 feet. The stage for minor flooding is 67.0 feet.

Nashville, TN – National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for the Cumberland River at Clarksville in Montgomery County.
Water levels on the Cumberland River below Old Hickory Dam will continue to slowly rise through today. Locations around Nashville from Old Hickory Dam through Bordeaux could likely reach or exceed Flood Stage late today or early Sunday.
Those with interests along the river should monitor future forecasts and anticipate a Flood Warning being issued later today.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) reports an outage on the south side of Clarksville that affected approximately 2500 customers, due to a pole being struck by a vehicle on the 1000 block of Riverside Drive across from Regions Bank.
Clarksville, TN – CDE Lightband has scheduled two momentary electrical outages to replace a damaged pole on Sunday, August 23rd.
The first outage will occur at 12:01am for one to two minutes and affect approximately 850 customers in the following areas: Riverside Drive from Cumberland Drive to Hickory Grove Road, Riverwood Place, Southern Parkway, Talton Drive, Greenland Farms Drive, Ambleside Drive. (Greenland Farms, The Landings, Riverwood Place, Southern Hills, Benton Park)
The second outage will affect the same customers at approximately 6:00am when crews tie the new pole into the electrical system. This outage should also last approximately one to two minutes.
Clarksville, TN – In an effort to bring more attention to drivers that drink and drive, the Clarksville Police Department is consolidating and publishing the circumstances which lead to the DUI arrest. They are arrests, not convictions.
The week started off great and there were no DUIs from the 18th to the 23rd , then things went downhill. There were a total of 15 for the week.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan is advising the public that beginning Tuesday, August 14th, 2012, Greenland Farms Drive will be closed and/or lanes will be blocked near Ambleside Drive. The Clarksville Street Department will be conducting drainage work.
It is anticipated that Greenland Farms Drive will be closed for two to three days. Traffic will be rerouted in this area and drivers should expect minor delays.
