Central Civitan held their annual BBQ Chicken Dinner fundraiser, Saturday
“It looked like it might rain at first, but it didn’t. It was a nice cool day for our fundraiser,” stated Larry Pitts with Central Civitan. The dinners were take home only and included a 1/2 chicken, with baked beans, slaw, and a beverage. Each adult plate was just $8.00. Clarksville City Judge Charles Smith spoke at 108th annual Lone Oak Picnic
“I am the City Judge. I have had the privilege of being in that positive for 15 years now. I am on the ballot in November,” Smith stated. “I have talked to a couple of folks out here today that said they had voted for me. I appreciate that vote.
