Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has lifted the temporary mandatory water restrictions put in place for a portion of North Clarksville on Monday.

All customers may return to normal water usage, Gas & Water officials announced Tuesday.

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan is announcing the lifting of mandatory water restrictions placed on commercial customers.

“Although we currently have a little break from the extreme heat, we are still seeing an increase in water usage due to the very dry weather conditions. We are making every attempt to lift the water usage restrictions in place as quickly and efficiently as possible. Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Late yesterday evening, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department implemented, Stage 2, of its Drought Management Plan, approved by the State of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, in response to continued high water demand and extreme hot and dry weather conditions.
