Fort Campbell app connects users to vital post information

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell’s new Digital Garrison mobile app is a ready resource for Soldiers, Families, retirees veterans, government employees and individuals needing quick access to information about installation services and events.

The Digital Garrison app is a joint effort between the United States Army Installation Management Command, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation. It pulls information from each of those entities and serves as a directory for on-post services.

“Certainly it provides information useful for Soldiers and their Families, but it also reaches out beyond the installation gates,” said Robert Jenkins, Fort Campbell Director of Public Affairs.

Cult classic sets up shop on corner of Franklin and First in downtown Clarksville on Friday, May 30th, at 8:00pm

Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, “Little Shop of Horrors” has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. This summer, the Roxy Regional Theatre brings the hilarious cult classic back to the corner of Franklin and First in downtown Clarksville, May 30th – June 28th.

Ryan Bowie stars as meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn, who stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” after his coworker crush, played by Alicia Jayne Kelly.

Disney’s “Tarzan” Swings Into Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre, May 16th – May 31st

 

Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – “Two worlds, one family.” The classic story of an outsider trying to fit in is at the heart of the Roxy Regional School of the Arts annual spring musical, Disney’s “Tarzan”, playing May 16th – May 31st.

Based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ “Tarzan of the Apes” and the hit Disney film, this action-packed musical tells the story of an infant boy orphaned on the shores of West Africa. Taken in and raised by a tribe of gorillas, Young Tarzan (played by Riley Jenkins) strives for acceptance by his ape father while grappling with his uniqueness.

Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre’s Les Misérables is a show you should not miss

Called Epic, grand and uplifting, Les Misérables has captured the hearts of audiences around the world with its powerful affirmation of the human spirit. The Musical is running through May 10th.

Will Sevier stars as the noble Jean Valjean, who has been released after 19 years of unjust imprisonment in pre-revolutionary France, only to find nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. Breaking his parole in hopes of starting a new life, he initiates a life-long struggle for redemption during which he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert (played by Donald Groves), who refuses to believe criminals can change their ways.

“Les Miserables” takes Stage at Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre, March 28th – May 10th

 

Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, March 29th, to Launch Seven-Week Run

Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Epic, grand and uplifting, “Les Miserables” has captured the hearts of audiences around the country, and its powerful affirmation of the human spirit has made this adaptation of the Victor Hugo classic an international smash-hit.

This spring, Boublil and Schonberg’s popular masterpiece takes the stage of the Roxy Regional Theatre, March 28th – May 10th.

A grand opening celebration with the cast on Saturday, March 29th, launches the seven-week run of “Les Miserables”. Following that evening’s 8:00pm performance, audience members will be invited onstage to socialize with the cast over champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $50.00 (including the show).

Taylor Galvin and Brandon Beach star as reluctant lovers Beatrice and Benedick, whose endless witty sparring threatens to keep them apart forever. Meanwhile, the two young lovers Claudio and Hero, played by Michael Spaziani and Michelle Foletta, are to be married imminently but for the devious scheming of a resentful prince looking to thwart the nuptials.

Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre celebrates Frank Sinatra with MY WAY

His ability to interpret a song defined an American generation. Relive the magic of Ol’ Blue Eyes at the Roxy Regional Theatre, February 7th – March 1st, with the must-see musical celebrating the songs he made famous — MY WAY: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra.

Featuring over four dozen hits — including “Strangers in the Night,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “The Lady Is A Tramp,” “New York, New York” and, of course, the perennial favorite “My Way” — this musical revue was co-created by David Grapes and Todd Olson.

“A Year With Frog and Toad” now playing at Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre

 

Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Spend four fun-filled seasons with Arnold Lobel’s beloved storybook characters in the Tony-nominated musical “A Year With Frog and Toad”, playing December 18th – 21st at the Roxy Regional Theatre.

In Robert and Willie Reale’s whimsical show, Frog and Toad wake from hibernation in the Spring, plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. Part vaudeville, part make-believe and all charm, “A Year With Frog and Toad” incorporates stories from Lobel’s four books, including the Caldecott Honor-winning Frog and Toad are Friends and the Newbery Honor-winning Frog and Toad Together.
