Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans return to Nissan Stadium this week to face the Buffalo Bills in a clash of undefeated teams. The Titans are 3-0 for the first time since 2008, while the Bills are 4-0 for the first time since 2008.
This is the first occasion since Nissan Stadium opened in 1999 in which two undefeated teams after three or more weeks of a season will take the field. Kickoff is scheduled for noon CT on Sunday, October 11th, 2020.

After opening with two of its first three games on the road, Tennessee takes up residence on Rocky Top for a six-game home stand. After facing TSU, the Lady Vols welcome Stetson (November 19th), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (November 26th), Air Force (December 1st), No. 22/15 Texas (December 8th) and Colorado State (December 11th) to The Summitt. The Air Force game is UT’s Salute to Service game, while the Texas match-up is part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, who finished his fourth NFL season, missed three total starts in 2018 due to injuries. Nevertheless, he posted his third consecutive winning record as a starter (7-6) and set the franchise single-season record with a 68.9 completion percentage.
Mariota’s 27 wins as a starting quarterback in his first four years with the club rank second in franchise annals behind only George Blanda’s 34 victories. Mariota is the fifth player in NFL history to record 12,000 passing yards (12,004) and 1,200 rushing yards (1,270) in his first four NFL seasons, joining Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Jeff Garcia and Blake Bortles.

This is the second of two annual meetings between the AFC South rivals. They met in Week 3 in Jacksonville, a game the Titans won by a final score of 9-6.
Nashville, TN – In Week 14 of the 2015 season, the Titans traveled to the New York Jets (12/13) in search of their second consecutive win. Despite posting 315 receiving yards, Tennessee was defeated by the Jets who outscored the Titans 30-8 on 183 total rushing yards and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick’s three touchdown passes.
Tennessee’s lone touchdown of the contest came on a third quarter 41-yard trick play pass from running back Antonio Andrews to quarterback Marcus Mariota, who became – and still is – the first quarterback in franchise history to record a touchdown reception.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans and New York Jets have met 44 total times in the regular season and postseason during the last 58 seasons. The Titans lead the series 24-19-1, including a win in the only playoff matchup.
The most recent meeting marked the first time the Titans and Jets played at MetLife Stadium, which opened in 2010. Played on December 13th, 2015, the Jets won convincingly, 30-8. Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed three touchdown passes, and the Jets defense produced five sacks in the contest.
