No Lane Closure Activity for Busy Holiday Travel Period

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – Thanksgiving travelers will not be delayed by construction on Tennessee roads during this busy travel holiday. TDOT will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways in anticipation of higher traffic volumes across the state.

All construction related lane closures will be stopped beginning at noon on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016 through 6:00am Monday, November 28th, 2016.

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways for the Labor Day holiday travel period. Construction crews will stop all lane closure activity beginning at noon on Friday, September 2nd through 6:00am on Tuesday, September 6th.

This will provide maximum roadway capacity for motorists traveling during the busy Labor Day holiday.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways in anticipation of higher traffic volumes across the state. All construction related lane closures will be stopped beginning at noon on Wednesday, November 23rd until 6:00am Monday, November 28th.

Tennessee Department of TransportationNashville, TN – Road construction won’t slow traffic across Tennessee this July 4th holiday weekend.  The Tennessee Department of Transportation will suspend all construction related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at noon on Friday, July 1st, 2011 through 6:00am on Tuesday, July 5th to provide maximum roadway capacity for holiday travelers.

Construction crews will stop all lane closure activity beginning at noon on Friday, September 3rd through 6:00am on Tuesday, September 7th. This will provide maximum roadway capacity for motorists traveling during the busy Labor Day holiday.
