Cunningham, TN – Montgomery Central High School’s Girls Soccer lost 4-1 at home Tuesday, October 19th, 2016 to the Page High School Patriots from Franklin Tennessee in the first round of Regional 6A-AA Semifinal play.
The Lady Indians struck first when Darian Bricker broke free behind the Patriots defenders to land her shot on goal at the 11 minute mark. Page would answer three minutes later with a goal of their own knotting the contest at 1-1.
Clarksville, TN – Northeast High School opened their District 10-AAA game versus Henry County High School, Tuesday, December 9th, by hitting three straight 3s to jump out to an 11-3 lead on their way to a 60-44 victory over the Patriots.
Nick Green would get things going for Northeast (5-3, 2-1 District 10-AAA) with a three to tie the game for the only time on the night at the 6:34 mark, followed by back-to-back 3s from Jontae’ Brown to give the Eagles a 9-3 advantage.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville High School’s baseball team scored seven first-inning runs against Henry County High School, May 6th, and never looked back, as the Wildcats defeated the Patriots 13-1.
With the win, Clarksville High (27-5) will now host Rossview High (22-11-1) at 6:30pm on May 7th for the District 10-AAA championship.
After seeing Henry County (18-12) get a run in the top of the first inning against starting pitcher Nolen Milton, the Wildcats never allowed Patriots starter Jake Croasman to record an out in his half of the inning before being taken out after giving up four runs.
Clarksville High Wildcats Baseball pulls away late to defeat Henry County Patriots 14-4 in 10-AAA Tournament
Clarksville, TN – Leading by a narrow 5-4 margin after three-and-a-half innings of play, Clarksville High School’s baseball team exploded for nine runs in its final two at bats, May 5th, to defeat Henry County High School 14-4 – in five innings – to remain undefeated in the District 10-AAA Tournament.
The Wildcats (26-5) will advance to the tournament finals at 7:00pm, on May 6th and host the winner of the elimination game between Northwest High school (7-25) and Henry County (17-11), scheduled to start at 4:30pm at Clarksville High’s Baseball Field.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville High School’s Nolen Milton blasted an RBI single to center field in the bottom of the eighth inning, April 1st, to lift the Wildcats past Henry County High School 3-2 to remain undefeated in District 10-AAA.
Milton’s hit for Clarksville High (14-1, 6-0 10-AAA) drove in Brady Cook, who opened the bottom of the eighth inning with a triple off the base of the right-center field fence – just below the 357-foot mark.
“Brady had an outstanding swing on that ball and smoked it,” Clarksville High coach Brian Hetland said. “If there had been any wind at all it would have been a walk-off home run. He just continues to be a good leader for us.
Paris, TN – Donny Everett continued his hot start on the mound for Clarksville High School’s baseball team, March 31st, as he limited District 10-AAA opponent Henry County High School to one hit in a 10-0, five-inning victory.
With the win, Clarksville High improves to 13-1 overall and 5-0 in district play.
The Wildcats would take command of the game right from the start with the Patriots by scoring six first-inning runs and finishing with 10 total hits – including five doubles.
Clarksville, TN – High school basketball in Tennessee officially came to a close Saturday, March 15th when the Blackman Blaze (28-6) defeated Oak Ridge to win the boys Class AAA state title.
The win came just one week after the Blackman Lady Blaze (34-1) defeated Ridgeway to capture the girls Class AAA state title. The wins marked the sixth time a school has swept both state titles.
Clarksville, TN – Kenwood High School’s Daniel Norl knocked down a 10-foot jumper with 2.6 seconds left, February 18th at Rossview high School, to lift the Knights to a District 10-AAA tournament title for the second time in the school’s history, 57-55, over Henry County High School.
Even with the go-ahead basket by Norl, Henry County still had a final chance at a tie or winning bucket after calling their final timeout with two seconds left and needed to travel the length of the court.
