Clarksville Police arrest Barry McCoy for Rape

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department opened an investigation at the end of November after receiving an allegation of sexual assault of a male juvenile under the age of 18 by Barry McCoy, age 38.

Clarksville Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit investigated the allegations and did a presentment to the September 2018 Grand Jury based on information uncovered during the investigation.

Clarksville Police Officer Assaulted during Traffic Stop on Madison Street

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – A mid-morning traffic stop resulted in a slightly injured police officer and an aggravated assault warrant in the Kroger’s Grocery parking lot at 1489 Madison Street.

District 2 Patrol Officer David McLaughlin stopped a black four-door Honda Accord at 11:08am because of outstanding arrest warrants. Eric Todd Jackson initially stopped for the officer, but refused to get out of his car.

Clarksville Police conducted Prostitution Operation September 15th

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, September 15th, Vice and Narcotics agents of the Clarksville Police Departments Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting prostitution on backpage.com.

Three persons were charged with Patronizing Prostitution.

The focus of the operation was centered on those who patronize prostitution in an effort to not only reduce this type of activity but to prevent assaults and robberies against the solicitors that have become commonplace with online prostitution as they become easy targets when they are directed to locations that are controlled by the prostitutes.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrest Clarksville Man in Human Trafficking Case

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – Special Agents in the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Human Trafficking Unit, assisted by Drug Investigation Division Agents and the Clarksville Police Department, have arrested and charged a Clarksville man accused of trafficking a juvenile for the purpose of sex.

After receiving information from the National Human Trafficking Hotline this week, TBI Agents began investigating Michael Scott Helton. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that this week Helton, an unregistered sex offender, trafficked a 17-year-old female for the purpose of providing a commercial sex act at a motel in Clarksville, TN.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, March 4th, 2016, Vice and Narcotics Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting prostitution on backpage.com.

Six persons were charged with Patronizing Prostitution. They are John Santos, Anthony Ashford, Kyle Stallworth, Stephen Mock, Richard Ginnetto and Gavin Phillips.

Clarksville Police asks public for assistance finding Glinorris Jackson, has Warrant with Multiple Charges

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is looking for Glinorris Marvin Jackson. Jackson is a 21-year-old Clarksville resident. He has an active warrant with the following charges; Robbery, Firearm During Dangerous Felony, False Reports, Patronizing Prostitution and Driving on Suspended License.
