Nashville Predators shut-out by Las Vegas Golden Knights 3-0

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – Just when you think that the Nashville Predators were on a roll, they come home and get shut-out by the visiting Las Vegas Golden Knights, 3-0.

Coming off of back to back wins on the road, the anticipation was high for Nashville to put together a winning streak, but the Predators just couldn’t get the puck on net.

Nashville was held to just 19 shots on goal for the night, while Pekka Rinne was having a career night in net.  Rinne kept his team in this one for most of the night, but just couldn’t do it alone.

Nashville Predators Lose 3-0 to Vegas Golden Knights

Nashville PredatorsClarksville, TN – The Nashville Predators just don’t have the Vegas Golden Knights figured out.  Whether it’s in Nashville, or Las Vegas, the uptempo game pushed by Vegas is just too much for the Predators.

Las Vegas had the best record in the NHL for the month of December, going 11-1-1.  They sit atop the Western Conference and obviously they haven’t been told they’re an expansion team, and this style of hockey just isn’t played by expansion teams.

But it seems to be working, whatever formula they’re following, because tonight they put another dominating performance on Nashville, for the 3-0 shutout.
