Nashville, TN – In Week 17 of the 2019 season, the Tennessee Titans traveled to Houston and secured a playoff berth with a 35-14 victory over the Houston Texans.
On Houston’s opening possession, Texans QB AJ McCarron led his team on a 15-play, 75-yard scoring drive that included first down receptions by TE Jordan Akins, WR Steven Mitchell Jr., and RB Duke Johnson.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans-Houston Texans rivalry is in its 19th year since the expansion Texans began play and the AFC South was formed in 2002. In 36 games, the Titans are 19-17 against the Texans, including an 11-7 mark at Nissan Stadium and an 8-10 record at NRG Stadium.

The Titans will have a short week to prepare for the Texans after hosting the Buffalo Bills last week in the franchise’s first ever Tuesday contest. The matchup was changed from Sunday to Tuesday due to the Titans’ COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak following their Week 3 trip to the Minnesota Vikings.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans welcome fans back this week as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a battle of 3-0 teams. For the first time since Nissan Stadium opened in 1999, two undefeated teams after three or more weeks of a season will take the field. Kickoff is scheduled for noon CT on Sunday, October 4th, 2020.
The Titans are off to their first 3-0 start to a season since 2008. With a win this week, the current Titans would match the 2008 squad as the only teams in franchise history to go 4-0.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans, owners of a 2-0 record for the first time since 2008, travel this week to Minnesota to make their first appearance at U.S. Bank Stadium. Kickoff against the Vikings (0-2) is scheduled for noon CDT on Sunday, September 27th, 2020.
This week marks the Titans’ third consecutive game to start the season without fans in the stands. The Vikings announced in August that they would host at least their first two home games of 2020 without fans due to COVID-19 Coronavirus restrictions.
Nashville, TN – In Week 12 of the 2019 season, the Tennessee Titans hosted the AFC South opponent Jacksonville Jaguars and won by a score of 42-20. Tennessee accumulated 471 total net yards on offense, including 248 net yards in the third quarter alone.
Both teams held each other scoreless through the first quarter. Tennessee got on the board first in the second stanza, as QB Ryan Tannehill led the offense on a seven-play, 73-yard scoring drive. With help from a 24-yard reception by WR Corey Davis, Tannehill ran into the end zone for a 21-yard touchdown and a 7-0 lead.
Nashville, TN – The Jacksonville Jaguars are the Tennessee Titans’ longest-standing division rival. The clubs have met at least twice each year since Jacksonville began play as an expansion franchise in 1995. For the first seven seasons of the rivalry they played in the AFC Central, and since 2002 they have been members of the AFC South.
The teams have met a total of 51 times, with the Titans holding a 30-21 advantage. For eight consecutive seasons (2009–2016), the Titans and Jaguars split the annual series before Tennessee took both matchups in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, the they exchanged wins once again.

For the first time, the Titans will host a game at Nissan Stadium with no fans present. In August, the Titans and the city of Nashville announced the decision that no fans would attend the contest due to COVID-19 Coronavirus restrictions. No decision has been announced for the remaining Titans home dates, including three games in October.
Nashville, TN – In Week 6 of the 2019 season, the Tennessee Titans traveled to Denver to take on the Broncos and lost by a score of 16-0.
On Denver’s opening possession, the Broncos constructed an eight-play, 32-yard scoring drive. Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay contributed 13 yards on the ground, and Broncos RB Royce Freeman accounted for 11 rushing yards. Broncos K Brandon McManus converted a 31-yard field goal for an early 3-0 Denver lead.
Nashville, TN – This is the 43rd all-time meeting between the Denver Broncos and the Tennessee Titans, two of the eight charter members of the American Football League. The Titans lead the series with a 23-18-1 record, including a 22-16-1 record in the regular season and 1-2 mark in the playoffs.
While they met twice per year in nine out of 10 AFL seasons (1960-69), these two franchises have seen relatively little of each other in recent history. Outside of a pair of preseason games (1998 and 2006), they have played just seven times since the Titans moved to Tennessee, although they did square off a season ago.
