Montgomery County, Clarksville Legislative Liaison Committees Present Agenda to State Representatives

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County and the City of Clarksville Legislative Liaison Committees jointly presented Clarksville and Montgomery County’s Legislative Agenda list to state representatives at a reception on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019.

This was the first time the County and City have presented their agendas together.

Clarksville Association of Realtors releases Candidates and Schedule for public debate on July 12th

 

Clarksville Association of REALTORSClarksville, TN – A public debate will be hosted by the Clarksville Association of Realtors (CAR) on Tuesday, July 12th, 2016 which will include candidates from the local Tennessee State Senate and Tennessee House of Representatives races.

The 2016 CAR Public Debate, which will be held at the CAR office at 115 Center Pointe Drive, will feature candidates representing Districts 67 and 74 of the Tennessee House of Representatives and District 22 of the Tennessee State Senate.

Tennessee State Representative John Tidwell calls on Center for Disease Control to Train Workers, Protect Montgomery County from Ebola Risk

 

Tennessee State Representative - District 74Clarksville, TN – In response to the news that Fort Campbell soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division will be deployed to Liberia to assist in fighting the outbreak of the Ebola virus there, State Representative John Tidwell is calling on the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to prepare hospital personnel in Montgomery County to protect themselves and our community in the event that a returning soldier is infected with the virus.

“Our military families and our community have endured so many burdens in the War on Terror. Now they are being called upon to assist in the world’s fight against Ebola.  We need to be sure our families are not endangered by a lack of preparedness,” said Tennessee State Representative John Tidwell.

Tennessee State Representative John Tidwell announces Johnsonville State Historic Park Grant

 

Tennessee State Representative - District 74Nashville, TN – Tennessee State Representative John Tidwell would like to announce a grant for The Johnsonville State Historic Park. The grant was the remaining part of an original $250,000 grant to the Raise the Gunboat Organization.

Representative Tidwell who is also a member of “The Raise the Gun Boats Board of Directors”. He revised the state grant, so that the Johnsonville State Historic Park can use the remaining money to retrieve, restore and display Civil War artifacts in appropriate cases.
